Paisano’s is amazing Italian food. I travel to NJ several times per year and I’ll easily go 2 or three times in a week if I can. The food is so consistently good that I can get the same dish months apart.I’ve always brought my own wine like others but now they have a drink menu as well. ($15 cork fee for BYO wine)I usually get the pear raviolis and if you love balsamic it’s perfect. For dinner the Oxtail Ragu is the perfect mix of homemade pasta, meat and a tasty burrata on top. I ordered it two nights in a row recently and I’d do it again if I was still there.The staff is professional and many of them have been working there for years. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ll be back as often as I can.
Ordered to go. Always hits the spot. I ordered online it was simple and easy. The food is always on point. Pappardelle rústica is our go to and it always makes for a great dinner. Staff was friendly and pick up was super easy.

Update towards owners response below -Thanks for the response. I was informed that blanket charge of 20 minimum will be applied but why did you charge for extra 5? I don’t believe there is any misunderstanding here. This is not professional.Original Review -Food and service was good but their Head server/manager Edgar seems to be a dishonest person and is not returning call after charging me at least 500$ more , unfortunately I did sign the receipt that day but realized later.We hosted a party of 17 on 03/09/24 evening and this guy told me over phone that blanket of minimum 20 person , 75$/head will be charged . They charged us for 25 people and now they are not returning calls or responding to my email. This is extremely bad and dishonesty on their side.

First time there in a few years because I dont live near by. I was pleasantly surprised to see they serve alcohol now.. The food was great, the portions were huge and the service was great too. Hopefully I can get back there sooner than later next time. The only thing I didn't love was sitting in the back room. It seemed more casual than the front room.

We’ve been to Paisano’s before and had a great experience but unfortunately we were disappointed when we went back on Valentine’s Day this week. Our server was not attentive at all. He never once stopped by to check on us and without us asking dropped off takeout containers on our table while we were still waiting to order dessert. We had to ask another employee if they can ask our server to take our dessert orders. The employee we asked ended up taking our dessert order. After the employee brought us our dessert, our server stopped by to tell us that he had been too busy to stop by our table. The same server asked an adjacent table for their dessert order and brought them dessert before their entree. When they informed him that they were still waiting for their entree, he had the audacity to ask them what was the food they had on their table and they told him the appetizer you served us. To make matters worse, they automatically added the tip even though there were only 3 people in our party. I do not recommend this restaurant on Valentine’s Day or any holidays. They are better on slow nights. Also, bring cash to avoid a 4% surcharge if paying with credit cards. Do not know if 4% surcharge was just for Valentine’s Day. I do want to point out that the other sever working in the room seemed to be a lot more attentive and friendlier. Wished we had him and maybe our experience would have been more pleasant.

One of our favorite restaurants. Come here for your pasta fix and return for the excellent service, delicious homemade food, and beautiful atmosphere- sit in an open window or terrace in Spring, Summer, Fall

I loved going to this restaurant until recently. I understand they just got their liquor license and (I'm sure spent quite a bit on it) but according to their website they are still accepting byob. When we got there I put my wine and a small bottle of spiced rum on the table. Within minutes a manager approached us and told us they have a liquor license now so we couldn't drink the spiced rum that we brought. He said that they have the liquor at the bar. When we looked at the drink menu there was no spiced rum on the menu. They had vodka, whiskey, and tequila on their menu. Basically pressuring us to buy from the bar-which we didn't. Again on their website it stated they were still a byob- but when we got there we were basically told my husband couldn't drink what he brought we would have to purchase from the bar. We have been to this restaurant numerous times and spent quite a bit. This was a big disappointment for us and will make us think twice about coming back or even recommending,

Amazing night at Paisano’s for my wife’s birthday. Steve was our server and was attentive and accommodating, especially with menu selection and food allergies. Food was excellent, probably best dinner we have ever had out. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the East Rutherford area! Thank you to entire staff, job WELL done!Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating and confident my allergies were prioritized.
