Went to Planks Pizza for a friend's birthday celebration. Was about 20 of us and place accommodated us nicely in their high top tables. Appetizers are phenomenal here, the different types of eggrolls and beer are enough to go hang out here for. Main pizza I got was the loaded potato pizza, now these are more flatbreads then traditional pizza so can't rate them as such, but nonetheless they were enjoyable to eat and snack on while having a beer. Was there for about 3 hours and didn't feel the time pass. Staff was friendly to our group and the 40+ types of beer are a plus. My only complaint would be that some of the pricing on the flights of beer aren't too clear, doesn't seem theres any discount for getting it other then the wooden block they come in. Also some of the beers weren't updated so it was a bummer to hear at the end to "just pick a different one". Regardless I had an enjoyable experience would go again type of place.

I prefer my drinks made by a bartender, but they only serve canned margaritas, etc. The wine is a quarter of a medium sized wine glass, balloon type. The pizza is good but expensive. We went for Happy Hour and they let us sit there for a long time, and didn't rush us out. I ordered pizza to go and they forgot to call me when it was done so it was only warm when I got home. I saw some dishes that look good but it is pricey there for the atmosphere.

Very good pizzas with a wide range of beer.The 5 small beer flight is a must pricewize.What is less enjoyable is being ask every five minutes if everything is okay. I know some restaurants see it as a way to get a good tip,... I meant as good service but it kinda wanna makes me wanna shout "leave me alone" and leave ?.

Would have loved to try this place. I'm only in the area twice. Was looking forward to it this time, my first. Bummed to find out it was closed for a staff party. While I support that, a notice on the socials would have been nice. Drove 20 minutes out of my way and mouth was watering for some pizza and brews. Maybe next time?

Been here several times and each experience was quite different.Overall food is okay. Tried the Cheesteak Eggrolls and they were not fresh or good by any means.On other hand had Loaded Tots, Chili Bread Bowl and various Pizza’s. All 10/10.This is not your typical bar as there is no Bar Seating but high tables. Also not a big focus on TV’s to watch sporting events.

Haven't been in awhile but now they charge ind prices for flights. Instead of 12- 13$ for flight we got.charged per 5 oz beer. Total for the 2 flights was 32$. That's ridiculous.Won't be going back there are too many top notch breweries in NNJ now to be paying prices like that.
