I just discovered that Yummies has permanently closed. Another hot dog joint gone. The hot dog business is a tough one with smaller ticket prices than a lot of restaurants and I am sure the rent for a business on Route 22 is quite expensive, especially in Scotch Plains. Add to that all the challenges businesses have faced in the last few years. It is a shame for a business to close its doors. For the owners, I am sure it was a heartbreaking decision. Yummies was a great place to grab a hot dog or a burger.

Chili cheese dog with raw onions with a side of seasoned fries. It was delicious with that intended snap from the dog. Only flaw would be the standard buns. Other then that it was delicious. And I will be back.

The best Italian sausage sandwich I had since Jimmy Buffs in Newark 50 years ago. Super clean facility, varied menu,so much to choose from, helpful staff, plenty of parking. Im going back again. Just loved the place. Veteran friendly.

Well the staff is excellent to start off my review . Once we walked in they offered us plenty of time to order and even gave us free samples of the products. The chili is homemade here and excellent. I have the rib eye steak Chesse steak which was very good . My wife had the banana boat which was plantains with chili and guacamole . Finally you kids got the chili dogs which excellent. We add drinks and cheese's fries and three drinks all for 33 bucks . You can go wrong here with a great lunch and dinner menu. I can't wait to come back to try the burgers !

Well, I can say I don't recall ever having a hit be this delicious. I got the Chili dog with Raw onions. Sounds simple but it was not only visually appealing but super tasty! Here again next day to try out some wings and cheesesteak.

Awesome place! A buddy and I went after going to the Deserted Village in Watchung and so glad we did. Food was fantastic as was the service (he had the Pit Master Dog and I had the Chicago Dog). Definitely will be going back when I’m in the area ??

5 Stars across the board! Excellent service matched by the food. We did a burger, chili dog, empanada and curly fries. Ordered ahead and it was waiting when I arrive a couple of minutes early. All hot and delicious. Great flavor on the empenada and chili. Excellent value! I've got my eye on the homemade bratwurst for my next visit!!

This place is just so cute and has so many options! Stop by Yummies for a delicious quick treat! They have a variety of sausages and hotdogs you can choose from - or you can make your own with whatever toppings you want! They also have a variety of specialty sandwiches to choose from, or again, you can just simply make your own custom one!! They also have yummie (hehe get it?) sides such as wings! I got their Cajun wings with a spicy mayo on the side - and it was amazing! The pricing is good and the portions are also good. They made the food right in front of us and gave it to us piping hot! You just have to wait a little while. That is the only annoying part. But in return, you do get fresh food. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Their hotdogs were also good. I can't wait to go back and try more of what they have on their menu.
