I was just there with my family for their Easter Brunch and needless to say, it was a total disappointment. Given that this is a reservation-based holiday, I am not sure why the servers and staff seemed overwhelmed with the crowd. From the moment I stepped in, the hostess was uninterested in helping and/or greeting us, the staff could not keep up with the food being replenished in a timely manner at the buffet, to subpar beverage service for the table, I would not recommend their Easter Brunch. This was all made worse by the terrible accoustics in the space. Thank goodness they didn’t have live music for the event because the conversations alone at each table made it difficult to actually hear anyone at your table. The most redeeming quality of the experience is the restaurants views but it stops there.

Easter Brunch was great! Side note... fire alarm went off, and we had to temporarily evacuate the establishment; which was not a big deal. What was appalling were the number of patrons who got into their cars and left. I'm sure there were quite a few who skipped out on paying their tabs.

We started with cocktails at the bar, as we were early for our reservation. Our drinks were prepared and served and it was refreshing to discover that the cocktails weren't watered down. When we were shown to our table, we met our server who brought us water. He came back and took our soup order and then returned to take our dinner order. That was the last we saw of him until he brought us our check! At a nice restaurant with above-average prices, we expected better service than that! My water glass was never refilled and sat empty. My husband's steak was overcooked. Because our server never checked on us, we were left to our own devices and my husband ate a filet that wasn't cooked per his order. I did enjoy my crab cakes, which were delicious. Overall, we were disappointed, though, and won't be back.

Food was of great quality, service was good, atmosphere was very nice, (especially looking out at the Shrewsbury River) AND...we could hear each other talk! (we were a party of 4) Definitely going back again!!

It's a great place to be with family especially today. The food, service and atmosphere was awesome. The food was delicious and better than other local restaurants in sea bright area.I give Dylan Santos and the executive chef 500,000 stars for a job well done with opening up this beautiful restaurant . The rest of the staff I give 200,000 stars for working at the restaurant.I would like to recommend everyone in the USA and tourists around the world to come and eat at this fabulous restaurant. I would like to recommend my bosses to come and eat at this restaurant too.

Our waiter was great, food was decent . Ahi tuna tacos were really good .The thing that pissed me off so much was the bartender Danny kept checking on all 3 surrounding tables if everything was ok and would constantly re-fill their waters. Even when me and my gf’s water were low he would almost purposely disregard us and go back to bartending. If it was once or twice I would ignore it but eventually I made a game out of counting him ignore us. 7-8 times he did this! Also we were the only Hispanic people as far as I could see in the restaurant. Also a waiter , young white kid with curly hair kicked my chair twice bringing food to surrounding tables. Both times I moved my chair closer to my table and both times he didn’t even acknowledge or say sorry. My gf thought I was over reacting with Danny the bartender not paying us mind on purpose so she went out her way and said hello to him and he stared and didn’t say a word back and continued back to the bar. People are not even hiding their racism anymore , he couldn’t make it anymore obvious. Danny and the young waiter were very buddy buddy, I wouldn’t be surprised if he told him to kick my chair on purpose. I don’t think they want my kind dining there. You win, I won’t be back. 3/3/24

Always enjoy going to Rum Runner!! Sat at the bar for a few drinks first. Great drinks and great bar service!! Then we sat for dinner, Food was good, no complaints, always have a good meal here! What disappointed us this time was the server.....Ability and appearance. Not responsive when asked for something, even water.... Good service is always important in making the evening enjoyable when you are out!

The view of the river, even after dark, was really nice. We went on Friday, around 6:30, in March & the joint was jumping. It was extremely noisy. My husband is soft-spoken and I really could not hear him at all. I probably would have given 4 if it had been quieter. Service was ... relaxed. Our server was chipper and friendly, but there were long waits between getting the menu and placing our order, and between placing our dessert order and dessert appearing. I ordered the burger. (I have been on a major burger kick lately). It was good but very basic - didn't even have a pickle I requested mustard on the side, and that was brought immediately. French fries were really good. Side salad of caesar salad was adequate, though dressing was oddly heavy on the mustard. Husband had the crab cakes, which were good and loaded with shredded crab. I prefer lump crabmeat, but maybe that's personal preference. Hubby ordered the cheesecake for dessert and it was excellent. It was pricy - Husband had iced tea, I stuck with water & bill was $85 before tip. If we go again, it will likely be for lunch - maybe it will be quieter? And cheaper?

Took a break from my beach walk and found this gem. I was warmly greeted by Kaylee, who was kind enough to allow me to empty my beach trash and directed me to the bar where I was taken care of by Jason. Jason gifted me w a tasty j lohr cab and I had the Betty salad, which was gluten free and vegan, but more importantly, DELICIOUS! Add in the gorgeous view and atmosphere, and it was just the rejuvenation I needed to venture back out and continue my beach walk. Thank u Kaylee and Jason for the great experience!
