As far as service, they get a 4.8. For the cheesesteak, solid 3 for me. We stopped in on a Saturday in April but it was still packed. I ordered a plain old cheesesteak with american, onions and some hot peppers. My wife ordered the California chicken cheesesteak and the kids just got a hot dog and burger. We also ordered the loaded tots, total this was almost $70. A little pricey for my liking. The space itself is small inside with a few tables and then some tables outside. The bathrooms need some love, the mens room door doesn't close all the way. It was too chilly for us to sit outside so we sat inside. The girls behind the counter and delivering the food to tables were just as pleasant and as nice as could be. They don't have ice in the soda machine so it's a process to get ice for your drinks. The food, the loaded tots were probably the star covered in cheese and a special sauce with cheesesteak meat. My cheesesteak was just kinda ok. It was a little rubbery, bland and honestly for as long as the food took, cold. The cheese had kind of hardened from maybe sitting under a heat lamp? I don't usually add ketchup but felt the need to do so. My wife's chicken cheesesteak was also just kind of ok. The bread was great and I got the seeded roll, so it was nice it didn't collapse. But as far as the meat, the star, it was disappointing. It just needed more seasoning and some heat. For the price we paid and what I got, I may or may not come by again. But compared to other quick joints in the area they definitely are the better option.

Best cheesesteak in SH, hands down. I find the unseeded roll one to be less filled than the seeded roll. Always well cooked too

Are you ready for the best cheesesteak you'll ever have? This blows philly out of the water. I almost went to midway but the bartender at beachcombers convinced me to try this place. Definitely worth a stop, let the pictures speak for themselves.

Best cheesesteak we have ever had! We got the California cheesesteak and steak with onions and cooper sharp! Customer service was great too! Worth the drive from Asbury to Tom's River! Can't wait to go back!
Easily the best cheesesteaks in Jersey and the burgers are fantastic too. The king Louie is perfect. The bread was soft, steak cooked perfectly and it was packed with flavor. It's a big cheesesteak so we split it between two of us. The sauce on the Louie burger was great and the burger itself was cooked perfectly as well. Fries and tots were crispy and salty. Everything was delicious but one of the best parts of our experience was the service. Everyone was extremely nice, attentive and helpful. We will always go out of our way to stop at Cheesesteak Louie's!
