“I stopped by for drinks around 7pm on a Saturday with some friends. Thankfully there was a table available and we were seated right away. Bosco's has an extensive drink menu, and happy hour if you go during certain times on weekdays. The drinks were average NY prices, and were very good. I got the Sam Said So, while my friend got a Negroni. Both were very good! The service was great, and the decor was fun.“
“Super friendly folks working at Yellow Rose, they took the best care of our party of 6. Our table was ready, and the wait staff were super attentive, and delivered the meal and drinks with ease. Everything was cooked just right, and the baking is up there with the very best. We had a couple of buttermilk Biscuit Egg and Cheddar Cheese breakfast sandwich plates, which I’d say, Is something I’m glad I got to experience! With this item, you get a choice of topping’s like, avocado, bacon, sausage, or ham, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the cheese adds just the right kick along with the combo of ingredients as a whole. The flour tortillas are excellent as well. The Jem Salad, is a welcome change from most salad offerings. Desserts at Yellow Rose, are all top notch, really doesn’t matter what you choose, because they are all made with care. Weekends, Sat and Sun, adds Donuts to the menu, and they are made that morning for brunch only (can run out) and they are light and some, if not the best we’ve ever had. Chocolate, Frosted/Glased, Cinnamon, and a tbd filled version. Texas Sheet cake, and all Pie and Cake variants are all winners. It’s a nice atmosphere with a spirited crowd, and they play some of the best music of any restaurant in the city. Thoughtful playlists of generally more creative songs from often lesser known bands. They are hard workers, but you might not notice, because of the easy going and uplifting personalities that service the community.Vegetarian options: There’s always a handful of options. Salad, bean, bean and cheese Tacos, and other vegetarian offerings.“
“Ive been here a couple of times and as a LA native, this place definitely makes tacos that remind me of home. There is only outdoor seating so I would keep that in mind if you plan on visiting during colder weather. But The tacos were delicious and I got way more queso and chips than I was expecting. They were sold out the last time I stopped by so that should give you a good idea of the quality of the food.“

So much so, we went back with the family for brunch, on 3/17/24, and received the same hospitality from Armando (our server). Every dish was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were a steal. Our family had the truffle quesadillas, the carne asada tacos, and the langosta tacos. But this time they went even more over the top as I accidentally ordered pickup instead of selecting delivery. Usually ppl say no and go about what they were doing but not her she looked in the back, front and said i have some gave me a cup and i was on my way. “FINALLY a solid taqueria within walking distance! We got chorizo and carnitas tacos - both excellent. Carnitas had a deep, meaty flavor, chorizo was flavorful. Green salsa was awesome, red salsa was a nice heat but not as much flavor. Got a lime cucumber agua fresca too, refreshing and not too sweet. There's only 3 tacos to an order (double tortilla) so they're not cheap, but it's enough food. The restaurant itself looks pretty nice - clean, bright, nicely decorated. We'll 100% be back.“
“I’ve been a customer for over 30+ years and can only say that El Cantinero has gotten even better over time. The food is excellent and the drinks, especially the margaritas, are, in my opinion, the best in the city. Their staff is amazing, especially the team of Junior and Edgar. They are by far the most competent, efficient, professional, quick and friendly guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet. They go above and beyond to accommodate their customers requests and ensure the customers have the best experience possible. “When you enter you just want to run away but once you have overcome your fear the gentleman hands you a sheet of paper with the menu, you book, you pay and you wait (very little) and if there is room you can also eat sitting down but you eat amazingly I recommend it to everyone, we only took one burritos and a plate of nachos because the dishes are very abundant.“

“The Dram Shop bar is a solid bar & grill on 9th st. The decor is nothing spectacular, the pool table area can be rowdy and smells from the back yard smoking area tend to linger inside. But, you get a good bar crowd for games with a few booths or tables for groups and families. The food is good; if you don't want their famous burger (triple patty is recommended) try a turkey avocado sandwich, the wings or a salad. Good place to meet someone as it's located up the block from the R, F or G.“
“I have been coming to Moe's for years and absolutely love the place! Big portions, decent prices, FREE chips and salsa! The staff is always really nice and helpful. One of the things I like best is how consistently clean both the kitchen and the dining room are. I have been to other Moe's and Bubbakoo's Burritos where the line of food is just a big gross mess. You NEVER see that at this Moe's! Love that they have tofu as a protein and the new dressings they offer are delicious!“
