“I hosted my wife's surprise 40th birthday party at a restaurant near Chloe's Creme Puffs, right in Pitman. It worked out where I set up pickup an hour prior to the surprise. I ordered 50 chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, as well as a red velvet cake. They did an excellent job decorating everything to match. All the locals were surprised to find out Chloe's did more than just creme puffs. Cupcakes can be hit or miss, but the texture and icing were enjoyed by all. It all was delicious and we were all digging into the leftovers after the party. Thanks to Chloe's for making my wife's birthday special.“

“Yum - first off, these are NOT ooey gooey cookies. They are firm on the outside and soft on the inside, but not soft like undercooked. They’re fully cooked and they are GREAT. But if you’re looking for doughy, these aren’t it. The oatmeal raisin was the best oatmeal raisin cookie I’ve ever had and I’m usually someone who forgets I love oatmeal and gets swayed by other fun flavors. Look no further, get oatmeal. “Great bakery in the south Jersey area. There is a nice selection of breads and desserts. This particular visit, we grabbed a loaf of Italian bread and a dozen donuts. The loaf of bread was fantastic and the donuts were awesome - we chose some classics like chocolate frosted and chocolate cream filled but also a couple exotics like red velvet, salted caramel and peanut butter and jelly. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This is a bakery that you need to try!“
“Sharky's is one of my favorites for bulk bagels in the area. They are the only shop in my opinion to have consistently large and fluffy bagels. I usually like denser bagels but these really hit the spot. Good amount of toppings and service is usually friendly.The only thing I don't like about sharky's is that they seem to close before their posted hours often. I expect that to a point at times if you sell out early as many good shops do, but when you still have bulk bagels sitting in the bins 30 minutes before close and the door is locked while you're staff is doing register count, that's pretty annoying. Make closing time earlier than 2pm if I can't buy bagels at 1:30pm.“

As we love sourdough bread, we reached for a loaf, and as we were searching, we couldn't help but find several other items that tempted our tastebuds. We did purchase a loaf of sourdough ($6.99) which we found to be very tasty but maybe a little denser than we like for sandwiches. It has made very nice toast in the mornings. We also could not resist the loaves of orange-cranberry and cinnamon breads ($7.25 ea.). They were both very tasty and moist. In fact, because we had purchased so many goodies, I was afraid the cinnamon loaf might spoil before we could consume it and so I froze it. After thawing, it was just as good as the orange-cranberry! We actually resisted all the donuts, but I think next time we are in Philadelphia and the Reading Terminal, I'm sure we will indulge.“

“Small space with a nice little area with a grass wall and a wall full of window panels. They didn’t have much out ready to order but I came for something special and that’s exactly what I got. Was a bit of a wait but once I got the lotus bomb it was worth the wait!!! Had just right amount of crumble at the top and the bottom to mix with it all.
