My husband and I spent the night in Baltimore. We went here late on a Friday night. It had a quiet small town feel. We had a great time. I definitely recommend checking it out. We were too late for food so I can’t comment on that.

Ate here one night while at a conference. It is truly a hidden gem away from the busy harbor area. My colleagues and I had a great time chatting with the bartender. I got the crab cakes, which were delicious. Also much less expensive than others I saw. Would definitely come back if in Baltimore again.

We traveled all day and wanted to go somewhere as we were and just relax. We were able to walk here from our hotel and were greeted warmly and very friendly. The bartender took care of us from our first cocktail until we left. She was very friendly and timely with the service and with suggestions. Our companions are foodies and they had nothing to complain about. Now granted it was not crowded but still. We started with the crab dip, delicious not overly rich as we have had. I had the meat loaf cuz I always do. It was substantial both in quantity and quality. I hate mushy loaf! This one was firm and nicely spiced. My husband had fish and chips and pronounced it delicious as well. Crisp on the outside and firm inside. We had 2 beers and 2 Jamesons and all for under $75. I would go back if we ever return to Baltimore.

My husband and I and another couple stopped in this restaurant to celebrate my birthday because it was near our Baltimore hotel where we were staying. Both my husband and I and the other couple ordered the same thing - the crab cake dinner and the crab chowder. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had! We also had Bloody Marys which were delicious. We would definitely dine here again.

We ate here after traveling all day and staying the night at a nearby hotel before cruising out of the Port of Baltimore. The service was fine. The food was not. We ordered mussels for an appetizer and they were overcooked, the broth was tasteless (how can you mess up stock, garlic and wine??) and their freshness was highly questionable. My husband and adult son ordered burgers and they both said they were awful. Meat was bland and not of good quality. My other son and I had grilled fish sandwiches. They were just ok, but better than the burgers. We travel to Baltimore a few times a year for various purposes. We will not be dining here again.

After the bartender brought us our drinks, her friendliness quickly vanished. My husband had a special request for the preparation of his wings and she snapped at him, "no, we don't do that anymore". We've been coming here for over 7 years. It's never been a problem. Then we waited 25 minutes with almost empty glasses until my husband was able to ask for another soda. She immediately snapped at him that he had to give her time, she was by herself. After she walked away, my husband commented to me, did I tell her to hurry up? She came back to the table and became argumentative with him. It got to the point where he had to leave in order to end her controversial attitude and conversation with him. We love this place but will never be back.

Went and ate on the patio the first night we were in town. Crab cake was quite tasty, a little pricey but full of crab and the fries and slaw were also tasty. This was close to our hotel, but the area itself is pretty seedy and don't know how comfortable I would be after dark. But best crabcake I had in Baltimore.

Went there after a long drive from the Outer Banks. There are two sides to the restaurant and we were directed…actually escorted over… to the more restauranty side where we were waited on by our waitress/bartender. She took our drink order and returned promptly with one of the best Old Fashioneds I have had, and a Pinot Grigio for my wife. My wife ordered wings and a salad, and I ordered the six oz. blackened salmon sandwich. The menu contained number of pleasant sounding offerings, but we chose to go lighter. We were the only two on the restaurant. The Fourth of July holiday weekend seemed to have encouraged people to go elsewhere, perhaps motivated by news that there would be no fireworks at the Baltimore Harbor area. There was one person at the bar. Our food arrived promptly, and there was plenty of it. My fish, which was cooked properly for a sandwich, was seasoned very well, and came with an order of fries that I hadn’t expected. (It was probably mentioned on the menu, but, as I said, we were tired from a pretty long drive.) My wife’s salad was generous and the wings were served with sauces on the side as requested. Perhaps it was the air conditioning, or thirst from the long drive, but somehow our drinks were almost gone, and we requested another round which appeared quickly. We were too full to ask about dessert, and getting ready to call it a night. A few more people wandered in and made their way to the bar as we paid the bill and wandered out. The whole experience was relaxing and comfortable, from an attentive and experienced server to food done simply and well. On the many occasions that we had during our stay to pass The Wall Street Tavern, we noticed that their tables, at least the outside tables that we could see, were usually filled. I think that that says something itself and should prompt a visit. Dinner with two drinks each came to $74.23 which sounds high, but almost thirty dollars of it was for drinks, and almost another nine dollars for various taxes. The food itself was pretty reasonably priced.
