Me and my friend got hoagies it was all bread hardly any meat and it was cut very thick and the tuna was more mayonnaise and celery than tuna fish they were terrible I will never get another hoagie there again

Me and my friend went today to get a tuna hoagie and an Italian hoagie - in the past they used to give you so much tuna and beautiful, sliced thin, lunch meat. Tuna was smeared on the bread there was hardly any in there. It was mostly bread and for the Italian hoagie the lunch meat was cut very thick and they only gave one thick layer of ham slice, one thick layer of salami and cheese - half the amount they used to give - very skimpy. It was terrible. I don’t think I would ever go back there again for a hoagie.They did not post the pictures of my our terrible hoagies I added 3 pictures 2 of the tuna hoagie and 1 of the Italian. They are a disgrace .

LITERALLY THE WORST SERVICE AND SYSTEM IN PLACE FOR DELI. 1st time there, read the sign and followed the instructions on the paper by the clerk station. Never left the deli area and waited for my name to be called out. I see people come and go. About 15 minutes later, I go up and ask why my name wasn't called and it's because they took someone else's order that started with the same letter. By this point the deli is crowded and was told there were 7 people ahead of me, every single one came after me, how does that make any sense? Produce section is good, prices are reasonable and checkout for produce has nice people.

Everything is always fresh the people that work there are very nice and the lunch is great. If you want a hoagie this is the place to go. The sandwich is huge and stuffed with goodies I go to township

I live in CT and everything I go to NJ I go to Verchio for their boogies. I was there yesterday on my way back to CT and couldn't wait until I got home to enjoy my Italian hoogie. BUT once I bit into it I realized they put mayo on it instead of the normal oil/vinegar salt/pepper and oregano which I requested. Sooooo disappointed!!!! Who puts mayo on a Italian Hoogie!!!???

I’ve been coming here for years, but I must say the customer service in the a.m. has recently been terrible! For example, I was being checked out by one of the elderly ladies and informed her that I had two watermelons in my cart (which she clearly could see). She didn’t even flinch and told me to bring them out and put them on the counter. Meanwhile, the cashier beside me told her customer to keep all the heavy items in her cart and to verbally tell her what she has. Did the cashier really think I was going to steal two watermelons at a register? Her attitude was very telling especially because I am a woman of color.Also, another observation, fix the checkout line system you have in place. If there is one customer in line and a cashier becomes available, someone walking up shouldn’t bypass a customer who has clearly been waiting. I could see if the store is busy, but it’s just common courtesy.Other than that, this place has been convenient for me and my family. A bad apple and dysfunctional practices won’t deter me from getting my produce.
