We stayed at Hotel LBI on Saturday for a nice night away We decided to make a reservation at SALT and we couldn't have been happier that we did! The food, service, drinks and atmosphere were second to none! Every single thing about our experience was fantastic I highly recommend you spend your next date night at SALT you will not be disappointed

We sat at the bar. Service was engaging, friendly and quick. Creative bartender, good food and reasonable prices. Lots of food items to choose from including pizza, seafood and salads. It was our second time dining here but first at the bar.

We ordered octopus and bacon appetizers. Both were excellent. For our mains meals we ordered the Buccatini, pork chop and bronzino. The shrimp in the buccatini were cooked perfectly. The sauce was a bit too lemony for my taste. The pasta was plentiful. The pork chop itself had minimal flavor and was very fatty. The sauce was good. The bronzino was perfect. Unfortunately the brussel sprout (normally an absolute must for us) fell short. It arrived late and seemed as if they forgot the jam. It had plenty of brussel sprout (most were not crispy) and bacon. But it was missing the sweet taste of the jam.

We had Laura as our waitress, she was great! The food was so delicious! We loved everything! We normally don't get dessert but decided to get it. The carrot cake was out of this world! We will definitely be back!

Always an enjoyable experience with well trained staff and excellent food. Service is attentive yet unrushed and the surroundings are attractive and comfortable. It is the best on lbi

We had a great dinner experience. I had the Seared Cod special and it was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend had the Tomahawk Veal Chop and loved her meal too. Tim the bartender was great and the service overall was excellent. We are looking forward to coming back again in the near future.

From the moment we were greeted at the hostess desk we were taken care of from soup to nuts! The bussers made sure we were watered and breaded and kept cleared of used plates. Jamie was friendly knowledgeable and attentive and took great care of us!! And then there's the food. Fantastic!!! Inventive and delicious!!! Super fine scallops. Best octopus I've ever had. Paired with the Greek salad I thought I was in Mykonos! Wow Salt. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

I highly recommend Salt Kitchen. Probably one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I did not have expectations other than the convenience of being a guest of the hotel. Our dinner was delicious. Plated beautifully. Portions were plenty and filled with flavor. From appetizers to Espresso martinis. Our server Kaeden was amazing. He made our night perfect. As were Tim and Anthony great too.

Excellent meal and service. The Tomahawk porkchop was outstanding. Likewise, my wife's Halibut. A suggestion. Warm the bread. It tasted like day old bread dry cold and crusty. The kitchen needs to do more than store a days supply in a metal bread box.

Ate there over lbi restaurant week. Food was delicious and on point however service was inconsistent 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant. Went back presidents weekend. Very crowded with large parties.Again service was spotty only 2 waitresses. However this time our food shush was the same we ordered last time came out after a long wait both cold and my wife’s dish was very dry. Will give it one more try.

Ordered 7 or 8 small plates/appetizers. Brussel sprouts and tuna ceviche were fantastic. Waitress could have been a little more present and friendly, although she did take the calamari off the bill (was overcooked and very salty). Other than that, big restaurant with nice decor. Good overall experience and definitely will be back

Our waitress, Emma, was so kind and attentive! The food was overall good. My cocktail was very watered down. We had a rocky start with the appetizers. My beet salad had almost no taste - it needed salt. My husband shrimp cocktail was fine. Our entrees were very good. I really enjoyed the scallops dish. The scallops were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The accompanying veggies were great. My husband's steak was cooked to his preferred temperature properly and well seasoned. We ended up skipping dessert. The restaurant has a lively feel and the views of the sunset that night were incredible.

I live locally and I had never eaten here. We read very mixed reviews on the restaurant. We have eaten here twice now and both times the food and service was outstanding! I will definitely continue to eat here and even just sit at the bar for appetizers and drinks. We love the ambiance too!

I ordered the halibut dish on Valentine's Day. The server said the chef recommends it cooked medium. I said, “Ok, as long as it is cooked”. The meal came out and the fish was absolutely raw inside. The internal temp was cold to touch. I sent it back and they acknowledged it was undercooked. Ten minutes later they served me the same dish. This time the halibut was over-cooked and the potatoes and bok choy were like rubber because they sat for so long. I figured they would have compensated me somehow (free dessert, discount), but nothing. The rest of the food was good. The server was very nice. Not sure I'll go back given my bad experience.

Fortunately, the staff were able to change our reservation to a later time and seat us near the fireplace as requested. Not sure why the fireplaces were not functioning properly. The food was excellent save for the Tomahawk Veal Chop which was less tender then our past few dining experiences.
