So my wife and I are foodies and she sends me a reel of this place during one of the famous foodies reviews. I decide, why not let's try this place. We take the 1 1/2 hour drive. I'm excited to go and surprise my wife as she did not know where we were headed for lunch. We get there about 2:40pm and didn't know they close at 3pm. Well here is the interaction after standing in the restaurant for about 5 minutes. My wife: (she address the guy that comes out of the back) Hi, can we sit anywhere? Me: Hi, we are looking forward to your food. We just drove an hour and half after seeing an instagram review. Guy (maybe the owner) You can sit down but I have a strict rule, I close at 3 pm so you'll have to leave at 3pm. Even if you are eating. Me: (look at this guy dead in the eyes) Wow, really even if we drove an hour and half to eat here. Guy: I don't bend my rule Me: Well, thanks but no thanks. We will never be back. Hey owner take a lesson or two about customer service. Good luck with your business.

This is a local gem. The service is second to none and the food is authentic. I bring everyone here for every occasion. It's the perfect date spot but also wonderful with the whole family. I highly recommend.

My go-to order in the Red Bank area, get it all the time, the best Lebanese I've had in NJ since we moved back. We don't eat much meat and their fool, labneh, hummus, and flatbreads with zaatar/cheese are top notch. Never get bored of it despite ordering once every week or two on average. What also inspired me to leave another review is they had some issues on the weekend and were unable to get to and deliver my order before closing. They called, apologized, and to make it up to me offered to give me two of the same orders (which wasn't a small one) to compensate. One of the few restaurants who understand the importance of customer service, super nice people, and this is why I will always give them my business!

This is a great Lebanese restaurant and my dining experience has been great. We had great service, the person who took our order was really helpful and friendly. The food is very good, it had fresh and top quality ingredients. I loved the stuffed pickles and Batata Harra. The Pistacho Baklava was the best I had ever had. The restaurant was very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Will be returning to try other things on the menu.
This place has went downhill big time..take out dinner was very small and loaded with French fries ,to hide the fact there was a small portion,and for the high price it should be more.the chicken and lamb dishes were flavorless,and thrown together.the grape leaves were not fresh and probably taken out of a can..There was one edible thing the rice..I hope the owners start treating their customers fairly and stop serving overpriced flavorless garbage..

We were a party of 6 and everyone loved what they ordered.The owner was very attentive and personable.If you want good, authentic Lebanese Mediterranean cuisine this is a must try. All made fresh and from scratch.Will definitely put Bayroot on my list of favorite places to eat .Parking: Lots of parking availability
Cute restaurant. I was there for lunch and ordered the shish taouk with hummus. The food was yummy and fresh.

Had dinner here recently- been a few years since we ate at this restaurant since the start of COVID. We were happy that it was quiet with only a few other people there. Very surprised at the high prices posted on an interesting menu. Quite expensive for what is offered. Kafta Kebab and Shwarma Chicken Platter. Kebab overcooked and dry- not sure if veggies were fresh or frozen. Host was amiable if a bit too 'political' for us in his topics of conversation. We wanted a quiet evening out not a political discussion.
