Excellent fresh food and service, little pricey but I'm sure their rent is pretty high in the Grove!Nice

Food is of high quality and flavorful. Added salmon to my salad and the portion size was about 2.5 ounces...ridiculously small. Service is just okay..have to ask for things multiple times before they respond. I like it here, but not much value for the price you pay.

Beware of this place if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies of any kind as they do not take it seriously . Had several good experiences here but it seems to be under new management and new wait staff as well, and today’s experience was absolutely awful and borderline bizarre. Brought my 91 year old grandmother here with me today as I have in the past and ordered her salmon, but instead of all the accompaniments and sides and dressings I asked the server to have it prepared totally plain grilled with a side of plain French fries instead (my grandmother has severe dietary restrictions and can only eat very plain or she will be very sick , I explained this to the server)The server said fine and went and placed our order . When our food came out , my grandmother was given a bite sized portion of salmon, I asked the server why and what happened and the server stated that is the “side of salmon”. I told her I did not order the side I ordered the full portion and have no problem paying for whatever it is . She said she would have to get the manager . The manager came over , who the server told me was new , and said it wouldn’t be a problem that she would get her the full size portion of salmon plain grilled . About 2 minutes later the same piece of salmon arrived on our table but this time covered in big chunks of garlic . I said please I ordered this plain grilled my grandmother will get sick and stated that is the exact same piece of salmon that was just sent back . The manager seemed confused . I asked her for a box for my salad and the check and stated that I would take my grandmother somewhere else to eat . She insisted a new piece of salmon would be out in a couple minutes, I insisted that would be impossible and to please not try to serve my grandmother the same piece of salmon after wiping garlic off. The manager said “oh ok I will make sure it’s a new piece”. As someone who works in food service I am appalled that after explaining it would make her sick several times that I had to be the one to explain to the manager that just wiping the garlic off is NOT sufficient for food allergies . I tried to be as patient as possible and about 20 minutes later a new piece of salmon came out . I asked for the bill yet again and let my grandmother eat the salmon . The bill arrived and we were charged $40 for the salmon ( which was completely plain and very very small ) and an extra $5 dollars for the French fries (even though she didn’t receive any of the sides the salmon came with ). Also you would have thought maybe the manager would have taken it off the bill after making a 91 year old wait 50 minutes for a of plain grilled salmon. Mind you the manager NEVER came back over to our table to make sure the final piece of salmon was ok or that we were ok. I paid the check and tipped 20 percent without hesitation, but for me it’s the principal. It’s disappointing because my grandmother and I have had such good experiences here in the past but obviously under the new management the service has gone way downhill . A warning to anyone with dietary restrictions, do not eat here as they tried to serve my 91 year old grandmother the same piece that had been cooked in garlic . She would have been very ill. I have been a waitress for 20 years and I would never dream of doing something like this . Very scary . Avoid at all costs if you have allergies etc .

Always a great time here. I love the burrata and the joey. They are wonderful with kids. I also like that they ask you if there are any allergies they need to be aware of.Dietary restrictions: Great awareness.Kid-friendliness: Kind

We had an awesome family dinner experience as always at d'jeet. Highly recommend the calamari appetizer. It wasn't on the menu but it was the best fried calamari and sauce I've EVER HAD.

Stopped in for lunch today and was surprised by the price of our lunch @ $80 for two people. Did not realize they now charge for drink refills - so 4 iced teas (that weren't very good) at $4 each and there goes $16! Not sure if the menu said that they charge for refills or not, and the waitress did not mention it. Checked their online menu and they don't list the drinks. Add the 3% credit card fee and tax and now we are over $80. What used to be a regular occurrence will now be an infrequent stop. Sorry D'jeet but the drink thing is a deal breaker for me. With tip almost $100 for lunch - so not worth it.

Came here for weekday lunch. Not many gluten free appetizer options. I had a salad with chicken and it was good, but chicken was rather bland. Service was prompt. The tables are well spaced out and it wasn't too loud to have conversations at our table in a normal voice.

Hi What’s up

It's a lovely dining option that I used to enjoy but the menu doesn't change often enough and the steady uptick in prices make me feel it's just not worth what they charge. For example, butter pasta (caccio e peppe) is about $30. In general, a sandwich and fries costs over $20. Steak is over $60.It's just not special enough for their very high prices. To be fair, the area has generally followed this price trend. We vacation in Nantucket which was rated the most expensive place to vacation and menu prices there are cheaper than this place.

11/2023: Three for lunch on a cold Sunday. About two dozen tables fill a small decretive room with an open kitchen.Don’t sit next to the active entrance door because the cold draft will hit you. A winter vestibule is needed.Service was good. Food presentation was nice but flavor was bland for the infamous cacio e pepe dish. This dish requires fresh crushed pepper but nothing could help the ice cold burrata cheese.Recommend tip on check should be based off the subtotal not the total. Who tips on tax? Easy fix that should be corrected.Several correctable issues resulting in a three star review.Enjoy!

Booked this restaurant last minute and was pleasantly surprised! It is a small and cozy place but the food is outstanding! I had the cacio e pepe and it was so delicious. My husband had the gnocchi and he enjoyed it too. The burger my son had was really good too, he loved the fries. Really nice overall and service was excellent!
