I had read the reviews and most of them were bad for this place. But i figured how can they mess up a quart pork fired rice, its a Chinese food staple. Well let me tell you for $12.75 I was served what seemed to be a yellow Spanish rice (broken rice not ever a full rice gain) with maybe 1 oz of pork bits, less 1 oz of chopped onion and less then 1 oz of bean sprouts. So in reality I was sold/served YELLOW SPANISH rice. Very poor tasteing too. Oh well. I had to choose a star rating but -3stars yes that is minus 3, is what Emperor Wok should have gotten!

I can only give them one star not sure what happened but they have the worse customer service ever and the nasty lady at the counter yelling and screaming and cursing every one out and because they are so busy that ppl were calling and she hung up on them never again will we order from there unexpected customer service who does that nasty nasty lady

My main complaint is not so much with the food but as with the annoying woman who has no command of the English language that answers the phone there! I have repeatedly gone through verbal battles with this woman because she is not verbal in her skills, she is annoying and I don't think they will ever get my business again!

Very disappointed. Pork fried rice was okay (a little greasy), spicy wontons were decent, but my sesame chicken was OFF to say the least. I didn’t finish it. Won’t be back

Always so good! I always get the same thing delivered, or take out. It is my go-to place for this cuisine, and it comes out perfect every time. They have so many great vegetarian options!They are all so kind and accommodating as well. I’ll always recommend here

Under new ownership I think ball different people there, food was good but Is not. Won't be going there anymore.
I was waiting for my husband who was at his retinologist's office two doors down from this hole-in-the-wall take-out only restaurant so I decided to give it a try. The shrimp toast had apparently been in their freezer for many, many months because it tasted old and oil-soaked. It was also sadly overfried and hard as a rock. The pork lo mein was very bland and reeked and tasted of dirty and burnt oil and the pork itself also appeared to be days old (dry and tasteless). With so many really good Chinese restaurants in the surrounding areas, I can't understand how this place remains in business. I know they will NEVER see me again!

I really enjoyed the general tso's chicken combo. They make pretty good food here for decent prices. I'd go back.

This was my first visit here and unfortunately will be my last. Don’t waste your time with this place. Combination rice was pale, pork fried dumplings were very soggy! I will continue to look for a better place in the Eatontown area!
