I always love finding a bakery so I had to stop here on my way through town. It was worth the stop and I’ll be back! The red velvet cake was one of the best that I’ve had. The sesame semolina bread… sooooo good, especially toasted with butter! I got cannolis too. Everything was amazing!

Our favorite in the region, La Rosa's is an old new york bakery par excellence. At least twenty-five feet of cases - few of these stores are left anywhere - so many choices. All the Italian specialties plus many more creative desserts. GOOD VALUE prices, good counter service. We get all our cakes here and many bring overs. Family-owned, friendly fourth generation, fuggedabouit.

This is a bakery not some storefront that sells baked goods. The cookies and cannolis are the best in Monmouth County. They have an awesome selection of cakes, cookies and Italian pastries. Not fancy just high quality cookies and cakes and pastries.

The best bakery! From cannolis, cake, to cookies! Everything is baked on promises. Very fresh, authentic Italian bakery. All staff is helpful & friendly.
This bakery was recommended to us from friends in Colorado and I was so excited to visit when we were on vacation. It is huge with SO MANY options! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. My husband loved his cannoli and I was beyond happy with my Italian butter cookies with sprinkles- wow! They have every New Jersey and New York specialty you could be looking for. We were given a free loaf of bread which was a pleasant surprise and we actually ate that instead of the breakfast provided by our hotel each morning! the young woman working didn't know answers to some of our questions but that was ok. We loved this place.

They barely deserve the one star. The owner Sal was a pig. The words coming out of his mouth was disgusting, I was appalled. The food in the window was moldy. This food had flys and ants crawling all over them I watched them serve this food to the other customers, I hope they didn't get food poisoning or sick from the ant and fly s*** on the food. I was horrified from the moment I stepped into this place and I have ptsd from them.0/10 would not recommend (I'm sorry to my followers I usually only post positive reviews but I was utterly devastated at this that I needed to post and share with others so they don't have the same experience I did)

This past weekend my husband purchased several pastries from LaRosa. One was a chocolate custard filled lobster tail. I got a chance to try it this morning and, like another reviewer from a four months ago stated, it tasted like poison... I couldn't place the taste; I wasn't sure if it was ammonia or bug spray, or if a rubber spatula melted when they were cooking the pudding or If it was a preservative, they added intentionally... I even decided I was going to save the other half that I didn't throw away and bring it to them and ask them what the chemical was and is it safe. I came onto Yelp To see if anyone else had the same issue and lo and behold I found that when I sorted by the newest review first, the second review mentioned the same issue. I will not return to the bakery.

I stopped by to pick up some cannoli & biscotti for a birthday. Right from the start, the woman (brunette, wears glasses) made me feel so unwelcomed & uncomfortable. She acted as if she absolutely hates her job & was extremely inconvenienced by any questions I had (even though I was the only customer in the shop). On top of that negative experience, the pastries I bought were just mediocre & overpriced. I will NOT be returning to this bakery, even if it were the last on Earth.
