“Been coming here for over 8 years now, always sit at hibachi, although I’ve dined in and order take out before but always a warm welcome and great staff. I always notice new cooks and new staff, but always is consistent. The entertainment from the cooks, and their kindness. I always get shrimp appetizer , only broccoli for vegetables, fried rice and my favorite was the ribeye but since the pandemic it’s been the filet and shrimp and side of ny steak. Salad and soup to start is always good. And for the drinks, either strawberry daiquiri or dancing girl. Sakura kills it every time“
“Served by Didi - absolutely devoured the steak fried rice, philly roll and spicy salmon roll. Been coming here for a long time and will continue to do so. Ask to buy the yum yum sauce - it’s made in house and can be bought in larger portions.“
“This is my 2nd time getting take out since they opened. Everything we have had has been delicious and the service is on point. I’ve ordered sashimi, special rolls, chicken lomein, soup, all perfection. The sashimi is fresh and prepared and plated well. My favorite appetizer so far is the Hamachi Kiss. So refreshing and flavorful. So glad to finally have a decent sushi restaurant that also has a menu full of many Japanese and Chinese choices as well. Can’t wait for my next visit.“
“I just tried Osaka today after passing by it several times. Very glad that I decided to stop in!Absolutely delicious and out of this world Calamari and Soft Shell Crab Tempura appetizers!!The star of the show was the Godzilla cooked Sushi rolls with spicy crab, avocado, cream cheese, made Tempura style with chef sauce! Melt in your mouth delicious!Everything single thing here was hot and fresh! Totally recommended if you're in the Route 73 Berlin, NJ area!Service was very friendly! Outstanding Japanese restaurant with a nice casual relaxing ambiance! I use the Public Storage down the road, so I'll be stopping here FIRST, if I'm hungry and want Sushi! Yum!“
“This place has become a home of mine of Friday nights. Kevin is an excellent, skilled sushi chef and keeps positive relationships with his customers. His staff, the elder and waitresses are always professional and courteous. They work incredibly hard to make the entire experience a memorable one. I hope they recover from this recent property loss and temporary closure.“
“The staff was so welcoming and we laughed harder than we ever have at hibachi and we have been going to hibachi for years. The chef had so many new tricks and jokes we never heard before that it was so incredibly entertaining!! Best part was that the food was out of this world, so flavorful and the portions were perfect! This is our new favorite spot for hibachi and family dining.“
“This was our first visit here and the food was above and beyond what I expected. My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by everything we had. The Miso Soup was very flavorful - the crab Rangoons were delightful. My Samoan Roll was incredible, and my wife's Sweet Potato Roll was delicious.“
“Took my 5-year-old daughter for her first hibachi lunch. The chef made her feel very special. She really enjoyed the show, especially the volcano. I had the filet mignon and chicken and was barely able to eat everything. My daughter enjoyed the steak, and my wife had scallops and said that they were really well prepared. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean too.All in all a fun afternoon.“
“Mt Fuji is my favorite place for sushi and hibachi. The food is excellent, the staff is fabulous and dedicated to their customers. The restaurant and kitchen are kept very clean. If you haven't visited Mt Fuji, you are missing out on a great establishment.“
“Annual work related Christmas party celebrated here. Food was good, only two cooks circulated amongst all the tables. This slowed dining time for many. Once they got started, we enjoyed their entertainment while prepping our dinners! Overall we all had an enjoyable time.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids to have an "experience " while dining.“
“We came here because we were visiting Rowan University and it’s close to the school. We were wanting Asian food, so we selected this place. The reviews looked good, and the menu had a lot of offerings that could satisfy anyone. When we came, the place was empty, which did not seem like a good sign, but we were proven wrong. They brought out some fried noodles with sauce, which was a nice touch. I got the chicken with broccoli lunch special which comes with a small soup. The value of the lunch special was fantastic, also. Under $10 for an amazing meal. I chose the wonton soup for my soup, and it was amazing! The wontons had a little less meat than I was hoping for, but the flavor was still great. The chicken with broccoli meal was delicious, with a thick brown sauce. The pork fried rice that came with it was very flavorful. The service was amazing, and the food was hot and fresh tasting. We really enjoyed it here, and would definitely come again.“
“I got a spicy tuna roll, and edamame. It was the best spicy tuna roll I have ever had in my entire life. I also got sides of eel sauce to go with it which was amazing. Everything was great and tasted so fresh. Such a good price too! I got delivery through uber eats as well!“
“Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi started. It is a great value with a wide variety and is a staple dinner option at my house. However after eating sushi from several other restaurants I have to unfortunately say, it is not the best. Don't get me wrong it's still really good and sometimes I just need a good heeling of Hewa, but it's the variety that allows Hewav to excel not necessarily the quality. That being said they are the best of the middle, only being beat by higher end swanky sushi places. Everyone should go here for the every day sushi or Chinese, it is just a solid meal everytime.“
“I was told to try the sushi burritos here. They are actually very good and I recommend! I got seaweed w/ white rice, shrimp, cucumber, avocado, edamame, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. However, I've had some of the other choices here and they aren't as good in my opinion. I wouldn't go here for actual sushi but the sushi burritos are fire. I ordered take out and the service was normal and good, but I've never eaten there so I'm unsure about how their service is. The ambiance is average, nothing special but not bad either.“
“My family has been picking up take out from the other King Wong location on route 70 now for years, but this was my first experience at this location. I figured our experience would be positive since the restaurants are under the same ownership. Sonny is a great guy and every time I interact with him he is happy and up beat. No Sonny this time but our experience was still great. We ordered an egg roll, small pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, and an egg drop wonton soup (yes you read the last part correctly and it's great (upon request)). There isn't really any place to sit and eat in the restaurant so I'd consider them strictly take out (they also do not deliver). Inside the restaurant itself is small and very We were told 10 minutes for pick up by the time we ordered and it was ready in 10 minutes. The total came to slightly over $30 and was well worth it. Food was hot. It all tasted delicious. Portions were very generous. I had Mongolian beef leftovers for 2 consecutive days after eating that night and the pork fried rice was protruding out of the top of the container and the lid barely closed. The Mongolian beef was loaded with green onions (one of my favorites), the beef was tender, and it was spicy! The dish came with plenty of white rice which also lasted me through the next day. The pork fried rice was a beautiful golden-brown and flavorful. The wontons were tasty and perfectly cooked. I've actually never heard of combining egg drop and wonton soup but my girlfriend loves it and King Wong does it upon request. Our order came with 3 fortune cookies, a bag of fried noodles, and the sauces (duck, soy, hot mustard, hot sauce) were next to the counter to take yourself. There is plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall with other businesses. Our experience was very good and my girlfriend orders from here often. We'll definitely be back again.“
“My first time trying China Cook......The food was delicious...I ordered the Dragon & Phoenix from the chef specials section and the mango Thai fried rice. Loved both dishes. The only negative thing is that I waited in the store for 1.5 hours for my food. BUT it was Christmas night and only 2 employees working.“
“We went here for sushi for my son's B-Day ( his favorite food). We loved it! The family running the place was awesome. Young lady that was our sever was on point. Fried Banana owner made my son for his day was great! Thanks so much. We go out to eat for sushi all over & when we travel. Quality & choices were solid. Good luck to you & will be back!!“
