Doc's is a local favorite. Lovely restaurant with beautiful views. The food is delicious and the desserts are sweet! Highly recommended!
Went there expecting fabulous food, it was on the ok side, nothing to write home about. The asparagus could have been peeled , was so tough. The bernaise sauce on the lobster tails was bland . Waitress never asked if anyone wanted a second beverage , had the table runner not brought back water, we would have had absolutely no drinks at all. While we weee sitting there I do not think she even came back to thank us for the tip . Very nicely decorated for Christmas. I’m sure during the day it has a lovely view of the docs/water/boats. We all agreed it’s a one and done .

The Doc's Place is cozy and has some great live music. The staff is friendly and looks after you well. But the food? It's just alright and doesn’t really match up with the prices. It's a good spot for live music and hanging out, but if you're all about the meal, this might not be your first pick.

Decided to try Docs again this summer after being told once that all the empty bar seats were reserved-how? But, this time was so much better-sat on the deck, our waitress was awesome and so was the food. Summer early bird dinner was the bomb. We enjoyed it so much we have been back 3 other times since.

The salmon and chicken parmigiana were absolutely delicious! The early bird specials are super affordable and include salad or soup & dessert. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Have been here for dinner several times with good results but the last time was really noteworthy. Waitstaff are great. Food comes out in a reasonable wait time. I had chicken Frances with mashed potatoes and carrots that was wonderful. My wife also had a chicken dish that was great. Everything comes out promptly and hot. Get a table inside or outside here for dinner - you won’t be disappointed. One of the best places for dinner at the Jersey Shore.
