It was a little loud to a Phillies game at the bar. Our server went above and beyond . I don't usually get gravy,but asked for it on the side. It came in a dish and I was able to bounce utensils on it. The consistency was a thick jello.Kid-friendliness: From the hostess to the server excellent

I have gone for more than a decade. I always thought that it needed more work to the design and to provide privacy to some areas. Certainly where was the ship that was representing that name windjammer. My husband and I always had a cozy spot where we could enjoy the flounder and a manhattan.As times have passed social gatherings are changing. I believe as many people do. Teach your children well and include table manners with conversation skills. I found the Jammer to not have an area where families with children could break the rules of manners and give the children iPads to use throughout their meals.It’s important for parents to understand how much they are doing in negative behaviors such as this. I found it disturbing to be part of this dining experience.The youngest children to be placed at the table with a iPad is inappropriate. The brain development of children is remarkable and has Advanced needs to understand the importance of exposure to the environment of computer technology because of radiation exposure to the brain during their development. Their skulls are much thinner than adults. Personally I asked for a parent to understand this and please turn down the volume as I want to enjoy my meal. Because they were well acquainted with the owners I was disrespected for my own needs and further disappointed that they had called the police to inform me to mind my business. It became my business in a public place where I was not allowed peaceful dining.I was told if I didn’t like it don’t return.I would have been more happy if the family simply had been kind and respectful towards me instead of rising to be aggressive towards me and simply stated they would turn down the volume, appreciated my opinion but I could locate myself elsewhere in the restaurant which they would respect my needs for they were seated before me. I had already moved and the volume was very inappropriate. They had three children with IPads and were using throughout the whole experience even with dessert. I believe that an area where the family who wanted the experience of IPads could be placed away from normal dining experiences.I was treated in a very uncomfortable manner especially with the police presence in the midst of this. What has become clear to me is narcissistic behavior and disregard for others in a public space where dining experience has become a problem and circus atmosphere. I’m not going to pay for any meal with this kind of attitude and disrespect towards other people in the same space. The Lord has blessed me and I am grateful for he is my Shepherd. Beware of this attitude towards your patronage and your enjoyment of dining out here at Windjammer in Somerspoint, NJ

I had breakfast there about a month ago and sent the following message to the restaurant but no one answered me, so I will not return because I was extremely sick for 12-14 hours.Message sent 3/3/24I had breakfast around 11:30 AM today and believe I received some tainted food. I had eggs, bacon and potatoes and within a half hour to an hour experienced, stomach pain, nausea and diarrhea and I am still experiencing this discomfort. I was perfectly fine before eating and it’s too coincidental not to be food related moreover these symptoms are typical of eating tainted food. I am writing to let you know so you can check these foods/process to be certain of the quality.

This restaurant is so very awesome! The service is top-notch and the food is DELICIOUS! I HIGHLY recommend dining here if you're ever in the Somers Point/Ocean City, NJ area??❤️
We did not even stay. A few red flags right off the start that I ignored. Dirty windows as soon as your walking in! And a sticky floor. Ignored all that. And we got our menus which were also sticky to the touch. Whole restaurant had a musty old food/grease trap smell. Still ignored. But when I went to unwrap my silverware I noticed that the napkin was dirty with who knows what. (Brown stains all over) Still kinda ignored till my wife also noticed her silverware wrap (Which is the napkin) also had the brown stains all over it. Not sure if they were reused from a table that did not use them but totally GROSS. And that was our call to walk out. We did not even place a drink order that's how gross this place was. Should be looked at by the health inspector!!!!

Onion rings were inedible , they forgot our salads brought out the meal. Chicken parmigiana was tasteless, and even though I sent it back I was charged. Staff was rude from the beginning which set the tone. Never again. Worst place in south
Loved that pierogies were an appetizer option and they did not disappoint. We ordered the prime rib and chicken kabobs and everything tasted great. Service was attentive and friendly.
