I had been passing by this restaurant for years so I decided to try Mangu. The Mangu had a strong vinegar smell (I know it's part of the ingredient) which put me off. The eggs had shells in it and were too expensive for something that didn't taste good. I guess I won't buy the Mangu or anything from here again.I had been passing by this restaurant for years so I decided to try Mangu. Love the food here they definitely give ample food for the money. Dining area is rather small I always do take-out. Food is served tray line style so you're able to see and select your menu items. It can get very busy at times due to the small serving area where there's usually only one person taking orders.

I feel fortunate to have found this restaurant today, whilevisiting Somerset, New Jersey! The food is very delicious...it is finger licking good! It is authentic Dominican food! The ingredients used are fresh and masterfully prepared! The restaurant is impeccably clean and delightfully decorated! My daughter Ashley loved their Mangu (plaintains) with stewed beef and I loved their rice and beans with chicken. I am posting her meal only, because by the time she posted her dish, I had already eaten mine...I couldn't stop eating...it was sooooo good! Brisas Paisas, es un orgullo Dominicano. I highly recommend Brisas Paisas!

Great place for a quick pick up as food is displayed and they will serve it to go or eat there. The serving is a pretty big. Normally I have enough for two daysThe seasoning is on point. Meats are very tender. It's my go to place. I would recommend it.

Good, inexpensive Dominican food. Hot serve, buffet style, with beverage fridge that has your sodas and some Caribbean and Latin favorites.Parking: It's in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking.

QUE HAMBRIENTO I just moved from nyc and I was starvingggg this was the closest restaurant to me and wow what a disappointment. The guy gave me a $12 plate with 3 baby size meat balls and 4 cups of rice and beans. Then had the audacity to say his other coworker would’ve gave me 2. Please don’t do to to this establishment son HAMBRIENTO

You get so much food for what you pay for. I got my food and ate there. The staff was extremely friendly. I had potato salad, rice, yuca, and oxtail. My stepson got stewed chicken, and my husband got stewed beef. Everything was amazing. Definitely returning!
