This place is off the charts … the food is fresh, flavorful and authentic …I think this was one of our most satisfying Punjabi food experiences ever … highly recommend the angaaara chicken kebabs … for dessert the moong daaal halwaaa is out of the world .. the ambience and the service is just top class and the owners truly care …. Can’t wait to visit again …
We have had the pleasure of visiting this hidden gem of a restaurant based on one of my friend’s recommendations. This restaurant must be on a list if you are in NJ and want have some awesome North Indian food. Don’t be misguided from the appearance from outside. Every single item served was authentic, no nonsense and no shortcuts in cooking which unfortunately many Indian restaurants do quite the opposite. I would rate this place more than some of the fine dining Indian restaurants that have cropped up in NJ in the recent past. Keep up the good work Punjabi Rasoi. One downside is pretty much every item was more than $20 and some were $40. It’s easy to blame it on inflation but this was a bit much.
