My husband and I along w my brother in law and sister-in-law had dinner there Saturday night. The food was OK. I didn’t think it was anything extraordinary. We had as an appetizer the artichoke there were two tiny pieces. I couldn’t believe how small it was.and that they have the nerve to charge $20 for it. My point is you can have good food but also give people what they’re paying for if you’re going charge somebody $42 for a dish put some food on it. The restaurant was clean, but nothing fancy. That’s why I don’t understand the prices. Anyway, we tried it next time we go somewhere else….

Has to be fake reviews here. This place was empty on a Friday night and it makes sense with the absurdity over priced under flavored food. Yes nice place with parking and attentive service may actually be over done to the point of feeling rushed and pressured. The piano playing is a nice touch and the meals were prepared fresh and presented fine but $47 for a bland Risotto and $44 for some dry gnocchi with 6 shrimp. Come on. Then the 3% adder for credit cards. Way too much for this. Won't be back.

A little pricey but food was prepared and served to match the price. Owner And Chef was superb. All 4 dishes were perfect. As were the apps and dessert. All quality. The owner even comes out to play piano and sing.

Amazing food and service. The prices were a little high, and the appetizer portions were small. Overall it was a great experience, the chef/owner was very personable as was his wife who was very attentive. I will definitely return.

I wish I could give this beautiful restaurant so many more stars. The food is outstanding, but what elicits that wish is the ambience, the lovely people and the exemplary service experience. We were here to celebrate Valentine's Day and we will be back on many ordinary days in the future to once again have them end with extraordinary happiness, just like today.
We were very impressed with da Filippo. The service, food, and ambiance were on point. We were immediately greeted by Filippo's wife and brough to our table. The food was very well prepared and portioned. At the end of the night the Chef Filippo came out and played the piano and sang. It was a great experience and we will definitely be going back.

We've been going to this restaurant for years. The owners and staff are so welcoming and go out of their way to make your experience an amazing one. The food is delicious and freshly prepared authentic Italian cuisine. Everything was fantastic!

We were warmly greeted and offered a table of our choice for lunch. The food was excellent and the owner personally waited on our table. I would definitely recommend this nice little restaurant on the fringe of downtown Somerville.
