We ordered a green curry, red curry, and pad thai. The food smelled a little strange like stinky old produce that's been left in the freezer for too long (kind of rotten smell) . I'm not sure if that smell is supposed to be there from one of the ingredients and I just don't like it, or if the ingredients were actually just not fresh. Either way there was a very strange and unpleasant smell from the food. It tasted ok, but the smell was very noticable.

The food was awful. I placed an order for some noodle dishes for delivery and not only was the food BLAND but it also tasted like plastic (probably from the hot food absorbing the chemicals in the plastic container). I would not order from this place again - it was highly subpar despite the decent google reviews.

Origin is must visit when in Somerville! Food: everything we had was delicious. The mushroom soup shocked us as it was rich, creamy and very flavorful. The mussels were delicious and had a very well seasoned broth. The massaman curry was our favorite! It had tons of crab and we loved the peanuts and avocado. The pad Thai was great and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Ambiance: the restaurant is a lot larger inside than it looks. It's beautiful, dimly lit and warm inside. Service: several servers came over to our table. Each of them was very kind and they brought everything out for us very quickly.
