Planned a dinner with a good friend and was looking forward to trying this restaurant . The waitress was terrible. She showed no enthusiasm or interest in us. Forgot to tell us the specials. I asked her which meal was better and she shrugged… “they are both ok, someone ordered the special last night and it was ok”. Who says that?! She wore her long hair down with 2 front pieces hanging well past her face. I have long hair too so I understand how she could want to wear it in a different style..However,I don’t want your hair or anyone else’s hair in my food which guess what…. It happened! We ordered duck buns and half way into my first one there was a piece of hair inside. It was in between the meat and coleslaw. Not sure if it was hers or someone from the kitchen bc it was between the meat and coleslaw on the bun. When she came over, I brought it to her attention.Waitress: “Eww, that gross”. Can I get you something else? Or take it off the bill “ I appreciated her offering that but who says Eww that’s gross to 2 people eating dinner. Honestly, I didn’t even want to order dinner.I’m here for a dinner with friend who I don’t get to see often. We were chatting for a while and catching up. The waitress puts the bill in front of us at the end of the meal. We continued chatting and about 10 minutes later, she comes to us and asks if check is ready for her.. Excuse me?! How rude.The service was awful, you didn’t seem like you wanted to be there, and made unprofessional remarks. My friend and I looked at each other in confusion. Long story short…Not really.. I had a stomach ache on the way home and didn’t sleep half the night. Idk what it was but I’m still feeling it this morning.My girlfriend didn’t enjoy her meal either. Will not be back here again.Again, I was excited about coming here. My intention was not to bash anyone or complain about my food. The experience was unsatisfying and the service was lacking.

We always have a wonderful time and food is delicious! We went with another couple the other night and our waiter EJ (Eric Jr.) was exceptional which made the experience that much more enjoyable. He was very attentive and polite. Thank you!

It was easy to make a reservation online, found free parking on a Sunday. Staff was friendly and helpful. Waitress was knowledgeable and her suggestion of lamb was spot on. Calm romantic atmosphere. The bread with olive oil mixture was fresh and too good, I definitely ate too much bread. The house made dumplings were so good I almost ordered a second serving. My house made pasta and my husbands lamb was amazing. Everything we ate was fresh and had unique flavors. We strongly recommend you check this restaurant out and walk the cute town.

A Somerville institution for sure which never disappoints. We had the escargot and dumplings for appetizers and the steak and salmon for dinner all of which were excellent. The thyme mules were also fantastic another nice night.

I was there yesterday for the Lil Frenchie Bruch, very good with exceptional service. Ice cold Kroonenberg, pork roll and cheese sliders and I was in heaven. Solid spot, will totally head back.
