My family and I ate there for the first time on the same day of the St. Patrick’s Day parade. The place was busy but the service was excellent. I had the Margherita Honey Roni. It was the best slice of pizza I ever ate. My family also enjoyed their order. I met Nino the owner, who was very polite and professional. I would definitely take my family to eat there again.
The food is delicious, but timing is an issue. You can wait longer than the time

I wish I knew about this place sooner . Stopped in with my son last night ( Friday ).We were instantly greeted and accommodated . They are busy , but it doesn’t get in the way of taking care of their customers . It is family friendly , workers are happy and extremely clean .The pizza .. I had grandma pepperoni slice .. it it’s hands down one of the best slices I may have ever had . It’s made to perfection . Had a few bites of my son’s cheese slice and had to stop myself from finishing it . I’m looking forward to trying more .Overall , this is what you look for in a pizza spot . I can’t wait to return .

Rude people see seating dining could ask meun or ask if order. Go from still no service lady walk go service her but seating standing over 20 min never gave

Unfortunately I will not be patronizing this establishment any further. Never had an issue with Amanos. The food was good, staff was always friendly. However, a good friend of mine was employed by them and apparently, their staff doesnt recieve the same respect as their customers. He was one of their drivers for a decent amount of time with no infractions. Then the other night one unruly woman who wasn't even a customer at the time decided to berate and yell at him while he made a u-turn in her driveway while he was delivering to a neighbor. The woman approached him aggressively with her pitbull (who was off its leash btw) and began cursing and yelling at him. My friend handled her professionally and respectfully, apologized for the inconvenience and went on his way. This woman however was not satisfied. She called Amanos and complained. John (the boss) instead of questioning my friend about the incident. Fired him. Im sorry Amanos when did it become ok for your employees to be treated terribly then lose thier job to protect your reputation?? With no care how other people are going to pay their bills and feed their families. Keep this up you wont have a staff to service your clients. How will business be then? SHAMEFUL!

Been going there for a couple of years now and I haven’t gone anywhere else. They’re creative with their food and haven’t had a bad slice yet. These are good people and it shows in their service. I find myself telling other customers my experiences with the food because each time I go to their locations I’m undecided. Consistency in the taste and their dinners are phenomenal. My Wife loves their salads too.
Our most lovely delicious spot for Pizza. Even my kids won’t go anywhere else to eat Pizza unless it’s AMANO PIZZA . It’s delicious. The staff are very friendly and awesome.Kid-friendliness: My kids love going there and sitting around to eat their Pizza .
We went there late night (9:45PM) and the food was great- and the owner gave us all the pizza ? leftover from the day ☘️

Over all food was great. I called on thurstay of last week. The 15th. The girl that answered the phone didn't really sound like she know what she was doing or even understanding my order. I also couldn't hear her. But when I came and picked it up I was pleasantly impressed with the people there, the owner I'm assuming was very welcoming but overall I will be returning.

Came here after seeing them being featured on TikTok so had to come check out this Devour Power recc! We made the trip from Jersey City and it was well worth it. Wish I took pictures of all the food (too eager to eat)- but we got the garlic knots, wings, pasta with sausage, pasta with meat sauce, penne vodka with chicken and the hot Francese Sandwich- everything ordered was 10/10. Food was piping hot, fresh and full of flavor. What topped everything off was the sweet staff. The owner( I think) came and apologized to me for being short staffed and gave me and my family these amazing cheesecake stuffed waffle cones on the house!!! Needless to say we were so full but happy we had left overs for the snow day tomorrow!!! Please come and check this little gem out in South Amboy!!!
