The food always tastes good. The people who work here are so sweet and kind. I lost my card and they took their time to call me and make sure they were giving the card to the right person. They were too kind. I tried to give a tip for helping me out alot and she refused. The service is great and I reccomend anyone to come here. Thank you to the workers in Ariyoshi for being so truthful and kind! I'll continue to rave and promote this business.

Racist,Terrible service, rudeasain server,Terrible tasting, flat food! NEVER shall we dine here. Some Jersey restaurant??? off the wall lacking in service!! One female employee was extremely rude, overly aggressive with a question about an item. They all kept removing our dishes off the table while we were still eating, brought bill without our request. Never asked how was food, if u white you get attention, if you interracial run like hell. She / rest need a midol/ menopause pill , if she can't handle the stress. When it gets busy, plus doesn't give you the right to provide horrible service to customers, while under stress.!!! If you cant breathe, then go work at home alone, back to Japan or china, north Korea. The hype is not justified for the place, very toxic, racist -packing, toykodumplings was Terrible. I get better service in Tokyo than in this cheap fake replica of Japanese food. Plus hiring people off the border, with no hospitality skills, no security screening, probably alias names, non English skills. Some Restaurants in jersey are really Terrible, falling apart roach dumplings.establishments ,getting worse everyday. It's best make your own food , restaurant style and save your rent / mortgage money. If they gonna treat you like trash. We had bad vibes before entering- go figure. Don't acknowledge you upon entering- a sign. If you an out of towner run.!! If you a local eat at Japanese place in Maplewood, NJ. Stay away from this place. Avoid raw foods at all costs, not good for you and infested with mercury, bad ocean waters.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is absolutely delicious and well-priced. Had the sushi, Udon, and a bunch of appetizers and haven’t been disappointed once. The environment is really nice as well and the manager is super friendly & always checking in. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

This is one of our favorite spots in downtown South Orange. It is very cozy for a lunch and we also go here after watching a movie at SOPAC. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The bento box has generous portions for lunch and everything tastes amazing. Love this place!

The service is excellent and you can spend pleasant hours tasting the best of Japanese cuisine.Parking: There is a parking lot next to the train station, which gives access to the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: It is a. Very cool place to take children, they pay special attention to treating children who they love.

There weren't many options on Christmas Day, so after a long trail walk, we opted for lunch in South Orange County, NJ, and this Japanese restaurant happened to be one of the few open. The food was good, featuring fresh sashimi and a variety of tasty dishes. If you find yourself in town, it's worth stopping by to give it a try.
