• $15 credit card minimum is ridiculous, and yes, I'd rather you charge me a credit card fee.• The food is merely edible and has yet to make me sick. That's all I can say about it.

BUYER BEWARE: RACIST/ DISCRIMINATORY OWNERSI’ve frequented this restaurant often, and my issue is usually the same: the waiting staff, particularly the older and younger women, are insulting. I usually look passed it but it has become increasingly worse. Today the older women yelled in my face. I declined to purchase the food after that and I do not believe I will be patronizing this establishment any longer. They do not uphold the ethos of the town in which we live. Hopefully they will take this critique and practice better customer service.Update:I want to add that when looking at the reviews from customers it seemed to be Black customers who have vocalized concerns of an extremely rude waiting staff. This is very concerning as it produces the question of discrimination due to racist. Again their behaviors especially if racist does not fit the ethos of South Orange. I will not be patronizing this establishment. However I would like to add that the young man that works there is very kind and helpful.

Pretty decent, not the best food I've had at a Chinese restaurant but decent if you're looking for a quick bite. We ordered the chicken wings and fries and 3 egg rolls . For some reason all the egg rolls tasted burnt . I have no idea why maybe something like the veggies cooked for too long but definitely a burnt flavor after taste. The chicken wings and fries were good no complaints there . The scenery around the area is nice . You can sit outside across the street at a little amphitheater style area with nice wall art ??.

There is a nasty lady there. She was rude to my daughter. We ordered food and she did not put utensils in the bag. How did she expect me to eat my food, with my hands ?

Costumer service was great as they gave us extra plates, sauce, and napkins

Where do I begin? If I could rate this place a zero, I would. The prices are inconsistent. My coworker ordered the same thing on the same day and he was charged more money one time. They have $15 minimum in order to use a card payment. The women running the restaurant is extremely rude, disrespectful, and racist. She's rude to black customers.Today I went there to order and I was dreading it because it's always an unpleasant experience. I should've known better, the only reason I went is because The New Great Wall is closed on Mondays. Which is another Chinese take out which is walking distance from them. They provide better customer service and the food is better. I was ordering some food and I didn't understand the question the owner asked me and I had her repeat herself. She got so frustrated, she slammed her fist on the makeshift counter they made due to Covid. I was shocked at how comfortable she was displaying her anger towards me. I cancelled my order and I knew I would never return, it was the last straw. On top of everything the food is trash from past experience. They don't deserve to be in business with the quality of customer service and food they provide. They definitely lost me as customer. They need to understand there's too much competition for them with their lack luster food and disrespectful personnel, good luck and good riddance.

This is a family run business. The family works hard so I hesitated to write this review. Over the years we had up and down with them messing up the orders, no sauce, missing items, okay fine it happens sometimes. The problem I have is when something goes wrong and they do not apologize for the mistake. They could seriously use some customer service relationship training. treat all customers equally. The is is okay, but not worth the aggravation anymore.

Food is absolutely amazing, however one of the employees attending to the front has abysmal customer service. There is a young man who’s customer service is on point. The other employee is an older woman who tends to be rather rude most of the time. She has yelled many times while I’ve picked up my order, once over hesitation in choosing sauces despite the fact that she will give you the wrong sauces 90% of the time no matter how clearly you denote what you would like. Food makes it worth coming, you just have to deal with the lady in the front always yelling, being impatient, and not giving you the sauces you asked for every time.

*1st update: got a quick response, but let's get some things straight: I was never rude to any of the employees. I never refused to look at a menu. The menu outside didn't have what I was looking for, which is why I asked, "Do you all have shrimp fried rice?"I was not being fecious. As a 1st time customer trying to be served, why would I approach the people serving me in that manner?*I did call the restaurant and am now waiting for a call back from the owner.2nd: We wouldn't have to respond to each other in the comments if you, as a respectable business owner, would of called me,, the dissatisfied customer, back. The fact that I called your restaurant to discuss and resolve this matter should be enough. The fact that you didn't extend the opportunity for me to personally discuss my concerns speaks volumes over your comments.Apparently, it is not of concern. Loud and clear.*point proven and thank you*Do not support them. They are really rude, the establishment looks dirty, and they lack customer service skills over all.Went there for the first time on 3/17/22, to order. I asked if they had shrimp fried rice. Guy at the window said yes (never made eye contact) and said 'small or large'. I asked how much they were bc the price may depend on the size I get. The lady (using the word loosely) standing behind him at the window interjected, 'small or large' with her hands on her hips and a scowl on her face. I asked how much they both cost. She proceeded to repeat small or large several times with thee nastiest tone and look on her face. I responded, "why are you talking to me like that?!" "You're really rude and nasty." She walked away talking under her breath. If it was a lack of comprehension, their presentation would of been different, but it wasn't. They just wanted to be nasty overall. 'Would you like a small or large? vs. 'Small or large!' Repetitively and with visibly noted attitude.So.... I went next door PENDANG? and spent $40 and had an experience that made up for what I just endured.??A local business owner heard the exchange nearby and confirmed that they have been and are really rude to black people and he will never support them again. I stayed outside after ordering from PENDANG and noticed a few other people who were not black were not getting the same treatment. Yikes!Thumbs way down!Lucky Fortune brings bad luck.
