The ambiance is nice and the food is above par, however, the bar service is atrocious. Definitely one of the worst restaurants in North Jersey as far as service goes. I’ve been there approximately eight times in the past few months and experienced horrible service at the bar all times. A little too much to be coincidental. The average time to get your first drink can average from eight to thirteen minutes. To get a second round or order food can average a fifteen to thirty minute wait. And worse to ask for check and actually get it can be well over a half hour wait. If you just want a drink or two with food and you have 1-2 hours waiting to be served this is the perfect spot. What a shame because this place could be a gold mine if they had sufficient training and staffing.

We came to the fox and falcon with my entire family. About three weeks ago . Dinner was great and the drinks were awesome. This was actually Our first time here. Someone recommended the place. We all had a good time until my entire family and I witnessed the GM Nuno talking to his employees very rudely. It made us feel VERY uncomfortable. Not only the server but also two of the bartenders. The employees there look uncomfortable.. I will never come to this establishment again. I don’t have respect for these type of people. I think that David Burke should look into this situation. Or whatever is going on in that restaurant. He shouldn’t be running that place if he doesn’t have respect for women/employees. As I said, before the food was awesome drinks were great. But the ambience just weird.

Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! The bacon is a must order and the chicken francaise with shrimp was amazing! The GM, Nuno, came over to our table to check in on us and we had a nice conversation about the events coming up at the restaurant. Everything was perfect from the service, to the food, to the ambiance, and the cute foxes displayed all over. We saw a gift card for this restaurant for sale at Costco in Union and decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

The wait staff and bartenders were top notch. Food was fair. Drinks were great. The manager made us feel uncomfortable with how he spoke to the female staff.

The manager was extremely creepy with the staff! He made our entire table uncomfortable with the way he treated our waitress. The food and service were great though.

I’ve been to Fox & Falcon a couple of times and sat at the bar. The bartender, Valerie, was awesome. She made amazing espresso martinis and she provided excellent service. She made several food recommendations all of which turned out to be excellent. The ambiance at Fox and Falcon is great. It’s a beautiful place with a great staff and excellent food.Parking: Park in the Sloan Street lot directly behind the restaurant

Nice looking restaurant at first sight, however, little did we know of what a disastrous show they have running here. Our first bartender was having a super bad day or she just doesn’t care about her job or herself. She had 2 complaints before she got to us. We were neglected from the very beginning up until my boyfriend stood up and expressed our concern the manger. The sushi rolled was not fresh and service was mediocre to say the very lease. We appreciate the way the manager handled the situation but we are uncertain whether we will return or not.

The food is incredible, there's no debating that. Excellent cocktails as well. The atmosphere is tough, it's a big place with several small rooms but still very loud. Between the music and conversation, they could work on acoustics a bit. The service was lacking as well, they didn't refill water with any speed, and the pace of courses was very rushed...and then one entree took 5 min longer than the rest of the table.Dietary restrictions: Alcohol free mocktails available

I haven't been to Fox and Falcon since it reopened under David Burke. I was not interested in trying it as I felt his establishment at Orange Lawn Tennis Club was overpriced, but decided to give lunch a try with my friend and our two 7 yr olds. I will say the dining room was lovely - I had only ever dined in the bar or on the patio so was impressed with the warmth and character of the dining area. But, I ordered a mimosa (which has 2 ingredients and should take 30 seconds to make!) and the server didn't bring it for almost 20 min -mind you, the dining room and bar were about 10% full - no one was there! Then, we asked for no truffle oil on the mac and cheese for the kids - they brought the mac and cheese with truffle oil and insisted it didn't have it on. (That mac and cheese was actually pretty tasty - I'll give 4 stars for the quality there..) But, the most disappointing part to me was the chopped salad I ordered with a green goddess dressing. It did not have a green goddess dressing on it - it was an oil and vinegar (no herbs or mayo base) - and the salad looked like it had been dumped out of a trader joes prepared salad bag!! And tasted the same! Needless to say I will not be returning to dine at Fox and Falcon anytime soon...

There is a little trick going on where the prices reflected on the menu is different than the bill you actually receive - and it's not in your favor. Many items were up-charged several dollars. Look carefully at your bill when paying. I am sure it was done over and over last night
