Soooo good!! My partner and I randomly walked into this place while in the area, and the owner happened to be there. I was looking for a spicy slice and despite not having one, he said he could customize one and made me a perfect slice with onions and jalapeño.Will definitely be back :$

We just tried this diamond in the rough for the first time ever tonight and was very pleased with our experience.I had the chicken Caesar salad,my fiance had the BBQ chicken wrap and our little girl had the chicken fingers. The food was amazing, but the service from Reeny was outstanding! Not only did she make us feel at home when we walked in, but she was so attentive and kind to us and so patient with our daughter who's autistic. Please give that woman a raise! She deserves it! We will absolutely come back!

Lemon Pepper Tilapia! ? Garlic knots!? I have eaten here 4 out of 5 days this week. One of the days they catered our work holiday lunch, so yes, I am counting that too! Stop in, and you will see why!

My husband And I were out Christmas shopping, it was getting around dinner time and we want to try something new. I came across and ad on Facebook "don't judge a book by its cover". It's a little pizza/Restaurant.We decided to give a try.we walk in and looks like ever other pizza place but then there are this sliding doors that open to a little about 50 person dinning room it was beautifully decorated. night and day from the front. We decided to give a try. We started with the seared Scallops appetizer.it was on their dinner specials Appetizer .Beautifully plated ( I wish I had snapped a picture before my husband ate one of the scallops) . His eyes opened as big as saucers. At first I though we had made a mistake from his his reaction. ;Before I could say something he was shoving a scallop in my mouth It was was AMAZING!!, super fresh & flavorfu.l . My husband tried the rib eye mignon(the description said all the flavor of a ribeye steak with the tenderness of a filet mignon and I tried the red snapper with a lemon risotto. also part of there dinner specials list both were out out of this world. Who knew ? We so happy with our meals we planned on returning for News years eve. The owner Sal said that he going to "pull out all the stops" I can't wait to see what's on the menu. I am so glad I decided to check my Facebook and came across their ad. Let me tell you that "DO JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER" is 100% True .

We had a party at Metuchen Sportsplex this weekend and everyone loved the food! We had pizza, chicken fingers, fries, wings and a six foot hero!! All the hot food was fresh and hot ! The hero was amazing , the bread and cold cuts top notch! Thank you for the great food and service!

I went there today because I wanted something good 8to eat I ordered the shrimp scampi and let me tell you the shrimp was really bad and what a turn off!!! So damn disappointing!! My first and last!

My family and I happened upon Carmen's Trattoria somewhat accidentally after a different Italian restaurant we had planned to go to (that some family members drove over 30 minutes to get to) ended up being in the midst of renovating their kitchen and was only serving pizza.Talk about a happy accident, though! Carmen's ended up being the perfect spot for our family dinner. We had a Jersey born family friend visiting from Colorado, who had been lamenting the lack of authentic Italian places out there, so expectations were high for this dinner and Carmen's did not disappoint.The dining room in the back has a subtle rustic ambience, the service from Sal, the owner, was superb, and the food was delicious! Even my Pop-Pop (who is from Italy and was an award winning professional chef) raved about it, which is no small feat.The bread was piping hot, right out of the oven, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the butter was room temperature, not frozen, so it could easily be spread. The calamari appetizer was devoured in moments and my seafood loving husband said it was some of the best he has had.For the main entrees, I had the chicken francese (my go to Italian order) and the sauce was the best I have ever had. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly too. My Pop-Pop ordered the classic spaghetti and meatballs and loved the red sauce, saying he could taste how fresh it was, as well as the generously sized meatballs. All the pasta dishes were cooked perfectly Al dente and the cheese sauce in my mom's fettuccini Alfredo was the optimum blend of cheesy and creamy. The prices are incredibly reasonable, as are the portion sizes. The biggest plus, though, was the service from Sal. The night we went, their dining room server was out, but rather than turn us away from seated dining, the owner himself served as our waiter. He was very helpful, friendly, and welcoming to all of us. The staff even stayed a bit late for us to enjoy our meals without feeling rushed.We will most certainly be back to check out some of the great specials Sal told us about, and are already planning to bring more family and friends for the next visit.

I must say they have the great west costumer satisfaction. I made a mistake in my order and they fixed it right away and got delivery to my house in a very short time period. Their food and pizza is ? delicious . One of the best ones in the area!

4/4/23 OMFG! This was insane. Best Italian I have had in….. don’t even know. This was the Penne a La Mario. Folks it was unbelievable! Broccoli rabe, penne, sausage plum tomatoes, garlic oil, lions and tigers and bears oh my. Off the wall good! Out/freaking/standing!!!!
