PROs - good food (meat) , good service , nice location CONs- not much for veggie lovers First timer .. good location... right on oak tree and park ave . Lots of other shops in this strip mall. Lots of parking ... gets busy on weekends and peak hours .. they also sell baklava and few other sweets ... We ordered gyros .. we also asked for extra meat . So the quantity was really good . We saw them prepare the chicken gyro and it was just awesome . Meat was juicy and tasted perfect . Goes well with rice , salad ... kids liked it . There was felafel but very limited options for veggie lovers. Lots of place to sit and dine . Overall a good spot for a quick lunch.. priced good .

HMS Certified It is now called Taj Grill & Gyro Main reason I came here was because of the HMS halal certification. I got a chicken and lamb platter. I customize mine for less rice and double the chicken. It was pretty good. They have plenty of sauces to choose from. They have other things on the menu. Menu is a little all over the place, but I'd stick with the classic mixed platter. Service is solid and they have decent seating inside. Ambiance is a of a quick little grab and ho with basic seating if you decide to dine in "no frills". Exactly what you would expect from a spot like this. Overall solid spot, I'll be back iA.

This is my husbands and my go to place. Something quick and easy grab and go. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. I usually have the chicken platter and he usually has the lamb/beef platter. The food is very flavorful and it’s consistent every time we order, the staff are very family and accommodating.
OMG!!!!! I absolutely loved gyro king! The food, service, and atmosphere was so welcoming. I went for the first time with a group of friends to have some dinner after getting many positive reviews on their food and they DID NOT disappoint!!!

This is my go-to takeout place in Edison. The falafel rice is delicious, and the sauces (especially the white sauce) taste great. All items are very well priced considering the portions. The only bad thing about this restaurant is that walk-in wait times can be a little high during peak hours.Vegetarian options: All falafel items
Got a combo platter with lamb and chicken. In addition to the white sauce a got some BBQ sauce added on top. The food was filling and hit the stop. Service was good, especially since it was my first time they answered the few questions i had and took my order quickly & prepped my food.

I really enjoyed my Chicken and Lamb Gyro over rice platter. Everything tasted great and the service was amazing too. I would definitely recommend this place for a gyro platter.

Now named "Taj Gyro and Grill" Clean and quick service. You'll get a classic chicken over rice experience with a lot of bang for your buck, without any of the street cart greasiness or taste of being spoiled. It's not gourmet but it's a cut above your average fast food situation. The rice is fragrant and tender, the meat is quite flavorful even without the sauce. I loved that they have fresh smoothies available, with plenty of flavors including rose! The mango pineapple was the perfect balance to the rich chicken and beef over rice.
