Very welcoming place. Was greeted professionally upon arriving and the staff was Uber professional. Very clean. Will be coming back. Would recommend this spot to everybody looking for a nice place to unwind.

I've been going to the South River Pub for many many years and I used to bartend there as well. It's my hometown bar and I love it. My mom knew the owners and i grew up with their kids and they have become like family. I particularly love karaoke night on Fridays with DJ Rob, who has become a dear friend to me over the years as well. The regulars are fun, kind and caring people and when I go there it feels like family. Like “Cheers.†They don't serve food but you can bring your own if you like. Sometimes for special events and football, Lil will make a little food buffet for the customers. It's always a fun time.

Friends asked me to meet for a drink before heading out. Upon walking in the front door, I said Omg this is a complete dive bar and 100% the dirtiest place I ever stepped into and immediately walked out of. As I walked out the front door, the biggest treat was getting to see the zombie trolls walking out from the side of the building. Two disgusting TPT females and a talk black guy who appeared to be fuming from his mouth. I ran to my car faster than A track star and locked the doors. If you value your life stay away from this place.

I went here for the first time in years and had so much fun! A group of us used to hang out here in the late 80s and haven't been back since then. We knew we had to eat first because this is a place for drinks only! However several people were ordering takeout to be delivered to them at the bar! We had no idea there would be karaoke which we kind of laughed at, at first. Several drinks and a few hours later we were all up singing! Nothing has changed. It was the most diverse crowd I have ever seen in any bar anywhere I have ever been. And everyone was having a great time together! If you want to relax with a cold beer at an "easy going" "no frills" bar with good music... This is the place for you! If you are looking for high end, fancy decor and cocktails, go someplace else.

Cool spot. The female bartender was awesome. Very friendly and she made us feel welcomed in the establishment. It's a small place with a diverse crowd. Prices ok. We didnt stay long. It did have an odor that met us at the door so that's why I gave the dive bar 4 stars. We will go back when in the area again.
