The Portuguese Fisherman is a slam dunk no brainer must visit restaurants! There isn't one single detail that they can improve. It's beautiful inside. The dining area is bright clean comfortable and spacious. My date and I were able to have a fun time and private conversations while surrounded by happy chatting diners. The front house staff were amazing seating us in a great spot and the waiter was the perfect level of attentive. Everyone was happy and pleasant which adds to a really great vibe. We entered through the bar which was lively and exciting. We'll certainly try the bar next time opting for a little more intimacy. Another note on the bar, the drinks we had were fantastic!!! The food that comes out of the kitchen was mega delicious! We had the octopus appetizer that was the most remarkable I've ever had. This is not said trivially, I've eaten in thousands of restaurants and I cook. Octopus is difficult to get right and they did it to perfection. My date and I had 2 different dishes and tried each others. The paella was just fantastic and the portion was enough for the two of us. My companion had the Mariscada that was also made to it's an absolute must visit!

Great place to bring your family, business meetings or even if you want to come sit at the bar and watch the game. The environment is very cozy and beautiful. The food is beyond words for me to describe. I will continue to come back every single time because of food never fails me. Ever!

Their food is amazing, staff is always attentive and they make sure the sangria is always full and you have enough warm bread to go around. They have really nice party rooms and the staff for parties is always great as well.Parking: It’s hard to find parking but there is a large lot on the other side of the road that you may use with a short walk to restaurant.

They are very considerate when it comes to packing up leftovers. We had mariscada that we couldn't finish. They separated the seafood from the broth and put them in two separate containers to take home. Made reheating the sauce easier without overcooking the leftover seafood. Food is great. Also enjoyed the octopus appetizer.

I went to Fisherman's for lunch recently as a first time experience. I have to say the waiting staff was excellent and the food quality and portioning was very generous, I had the fish sandwich and my guest had the calamari and both portions were very good and the quality of the 'fish fry' of both items was excellent. The portioning of calamari was enough to feed a small family if I had to say. The fish was delicate and perfectly done and I heartily ate the entire sandwich -it was light and crispy. The lunch pricing was very good so I would definitely say this is a hidden bargain considering the food quality and meal size. Only downside, I'm a little bit hard of hearing and the music was just a bit louder than I think needed but I also didn't ask to turn the volume down any, which most restaurants will make an effort to do. Other than that, the ambiance of the booths indoor was nice and it wasn't crowded at all given it's the off-season period. Very happy I tried the lunch here!

Food, Service, and Value were excellent. The only issue was the loud noise; we dined in the room next to the main entrance which somewhat reduced the noise. It was difficult to hear and have a discussion, however the food was outstandeing.

Me, my wife sat down, ordered two appetizers, soup and chorizo, two entrées, chicken and rice and garlic chicken and we had a few drinks. All prices were well worth the value of the food and drink we received. The only negative is the waiter seem to be elsewhere all the time had to chase him down to get new drinks, all other staff were on point bus boys were there at every turn food was very tasty

We had not been to Portuguese Fisherman for a couple of years but decided to make Valentines Day reservations there as it is also my wife's birthday. We did not have to wait and were taken to a separate banquet room where there were several couples at tables. This was nice as the room was quiet and my wife and I could seak with each other freely. The food as usual was well-prepared and bountiful.
Food is excellent as always. The picadinho misto as an appetizer was pretty large and I had to take the remainder home. The chicken in garlic sauce was also very good. Can't say we ever had a bad meal or experience for the times we have been there. Loved the sangria (had the read, no white this time around). Sangria prices have gone up so be prepared to pay more for a large size pitcher. Booths are somewhat closer to the bar and that can make it a little bit noisier than sitting in the other dining room. It's a treat for us to visit there on occasion (usually around holidays), and always good to make reservations to insure you get in on time.

Brought a new colleague here for dinner and was very happy with the decision. Both had the Paella which was excellent. Enough left over for a second meal. Noise level was not an issue and we were able to easily converse. Will definitely return.

This is the my 4th time at Portuguese Fisherman in a year & it was just as expected. It's my go to spot whenever we don't want to drive too far and stay local for dinner dates. Food was good as always except mine was a little on the salty side I had the monkfish ,shrimp and scallop cooked in rice. My husband's fried red snapper was delish! Server was attentive and made great recommendations when asked. Everyone seemed friendly which speaks to their good service. We will definitely be back soon. Will recommend.
