I love eating at Amelia’s, especially on the porch! Food and atmosphere are so lovely. We really love it when it’s BYOB! Always ask for the porch or the sunroom, but they fill up quickly

We had a delicious lunch from the new sandwich menu! My mom had the crab cake sandwich and raved and I had the caprese and even though it was a small portion, it was delicious. We shared the pistachio cheesecake and it was also fabulous!

Amelia's is a beautiful restaurant with amazing ambience. We sat on the sun porch. The nice white table cloths and table settings were soothing. The food was wonderful. I had Shrimp Oreganata and my wife had Barelli's Chicken. Both were delicious. The wine selection was adequate but I thought a bit pricey for most folks. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

I always love this restaurant even under its new name. I was also pleasantly surprised about how accommodating the chef was to my gluten allergy. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic!

We went to try their food because of restaurant week. Their portions were smaller than advertised. The manager was not very pleasant explaining the difference, and did not own up to the mistake. Very disappointing. Also, took 20 minutes to serve apps. And the main dishes took over 45minutes after apps. Way too long.

Service wax amazing ! Manager and waitress and servers all great. Good not do much . Resturant week portions were so small for $42. My seafood dinner dish had 4 mussels , 2 shrimps and one scallup. Filet mignon was 5 0z at best . Taste on both dishes just okay . Both lacked something . Manager said it was Sunday Cook so off a little . She did give us a small discount . Place and team very nice . But do not do resturant week and charge $42 for basically appy size dinners .

We are always happy to share this place we love with newcomers. This time our visit fell inadvertently into Restaurant Week so was incredibly busy (and thus noisy). We were promptly offered a table in the otherwise-jammed main dining room, but when we declined in favor of waiting a bit for our requested enclosed porch seating, our polite refusal was met with understanding and equally courteous acceptance. Not long after, the manager led is through the crowd to a just-freed porch table — quieter, slightly more private, and infinitely more atmospheric; well done! The meal, it goes without saying, was delicious and perfectly presented.

This was our return visit from just a week ago. We loved it just as much but found that many more people must have heard about it. Our wait to be seated with our reservation was a bit longer than expected but was within reason. Food was tasty as expected and ambiance is wonderful!

We did late lunch (2PM) for my mom's birthday, dinner menu. Ocean view from table, great customer service from Roxie/Emma, and food was DELICIOUS. Entrees are pricey ($35-45), but large portions, very high quality, and no bougie "interpretations" of classic Italian dishes. Homemade gnocchi bolognese, chicken saltumbooca, meatball lasagna were NYC level with full dinner leftover. Prior to May 1st, it's BYOB, which is huge $$$ off bill if your family likes wine/cocktails. (I brought white, red, and a vodka pint!) I'd go salad over pricey apps if trying to save; entrees are the star here. Beach right across street for a nice post-meal walk. Our family will definitely return to Amelia's.Kid-friendliness: They made butter noodles for baby and really considered our seating to not disturb others. Our waitress purposely sat us in a different room than her other tables to give us a great view and baby space, knowing she'd have to keep running back and forth. There was a large communion party going on during lunch in another room with lots of (very well-behaved) kids, so clearly they are family friendly and accommodating to what children realistically like to eat.

Recommended dishes: Gnocchi Bolognese, Wild Caught Shrimp Oreganata with Spinach and Mashed Potatoes, Olives, Meat Lasagna

The food and service was very good. There was a rehearsal dinner there last evening and it was really extremely noisy. They should have closed the restaurant for outside patrons or not had the dinner there. It took about one hour for us to get our appetizer. Dinner came out almost immediately so you could tell the kitchen was really backed up . All in all the food was very good and the service as well. We will definitely go back but probably during the week.

Restaurant week, so the restaurant was at full tilt. The front and back handled it extremely well. The selections for restaurant week as well as their standards were wonderful. Another great experience at this Jersey Shore Eatery.
