I just dont know what should I give for star. Just want to let people know that they’re closed. Drove there tonight and the door said Their last day on business was Feb 14 due to something about landlord. So dont go there or you’ll wasted your time. They should update website or let people here know that they are no longer in bussiness.

Let's start off positive, some foods were good, SOME waiters were nice. Now is the bad news, service was terrible the boss was harassing my family the entire time. Refused to give us bowls, food was missing, picture showing is how the food came, looks like leftovers. Good thing this restaurant is closing down. Terrible experience with big groups.

The food here is amazing! I ordered the General Tsos chicken and I LOVE how they allow you to choose white or dark meat. Food was very well prepared and the staff is LOVELY!

My fiance and I went to grab some food after Xmas shopping. 1st the guy at the front bypassed us to greet another patron (different color). Then asked us if we had a reservation, we replied no. He then proceeded to say he didn't have space. which was clearly a lie and then \\\" can you make it quick\\\". after we were seated we actually sat there for more than 30 mins . no one came to serve us or even greet us. I can tell by the way everyone was acting that we weren't welcomed. So we kindly left. Shame. Would never recommend this place to anyone of color!

The food is always so tasty and fresh and the service is always fast and friendly. We went for my friend’s birthday and they did not disappoint! The LycheeTinis are an absolute must!!!

I'm shocked at how bland this food was considering the price. I've never been more upset about spending money. We ordered scallion pancakes, general tso's white meat and sweet \\u0026 sour chicken. I could've even tell the difference btwn the two chicken dishes. Both were so bland, my husband and I agreed it was the worst Chinese we've ever had.

Cathay 22 is by far the best Chinese food in Union County! Love their dumplings in spicy sauce and you can't go wrong with anything on their menu!

The food was fair, their soup was oily but the most irritating thing about this restaurant is their poor customer service. We went as a group and it was terrible from the get go. They acted as if we were begging for free food. It was a very bad service and we will never be going back.

i ordered general tso’s, scallion pancakes, and wonton soup. i’m not saying don’t give this place a shot but dear god steer clear of those items. it was so bad it seems like this food is from another restaurant completely or all of these reviews are fake

Tasty Chinese Cuisine, packaged quite upscale. Lots of parking at location. Restaurant is dimly lit making it perfect for a date-night spot or an intimate lunch. Service was excellent and prompt. Loved everything but the scallion pancakes are definitely the winning appetizer. Will visit again.

Our take out last night was outstanding - the best in the area by far. We had chicken with broccoli, Mongolian beef and fried rice. Can't wait to go back.

It was recommended to me and I seen the 4 1/2 star rating to get not so fresh food I ordered ribs and they were just thrown in a bag and the dumplings were soaked in whatever they seared them in. I won’t be back and the prices were pretty high with no lunch menu in the middle of route 22. Very disappointing

The general tsaos is more breading than meat. The appetizer sampler (pu pu platter) is a menagerie of grease soaked items we found unpalatable. The beef and broccoli is ok, sauce is heavily loaded with sodium. The lo main is very average. I'd pass on coming here again.

Cathay 22 straddles the fine line between authentic Chinese cuisine and greasy Americanized fare, but not quite with aplomb. China chalet pulls this off well, and Cathay 22 is two steps below. Any battered chicken dish is heavily battered and to be skipped. Thick clumpy heavy batter with little to no chicken, and uniform texture without a crispy exterior. this applies to general tsaos, sesame chicken, etc. The sautéed chicken dishes such as chicken and cashew are alright, but nothing to write home about. If you are comparing this to your run of the mill American Chinese place, you will not leave feeling sick. Beef and broccoli is alright, but not quite on par with China Chalet, though better than typical Americanized Chinese. This may be the best Chinese in the area, but the bar is low.
