We picked this off the internet by chance. The food was fantastic , service by Dan was outstanding and obviously worth the drive. We had oysters, salmon and steaks all were good. Go and ask for Dan!

We positively love bicycling here from Ocean City when we stay at the shore. Comprehensive seafood menu, on the water, a beach, cornhole sets on the beach. A do-not-miss place.

The good news is that the Deauville has experienced an amazing makeover. The building has been refreshed, the patio expanded, the beach re-purposed as an expanded service area, and the docks totally replaced (multiple dock hands included). They even bought out a small breakfast place to get additional parking spaces. This has resulted in an impressive bar crowd--especially on hot summer days. The bad news is they forgot to expend a balanced amount of their budget on their kitchen staff, notably a chef. The menu focuses, by and large, on bar food with an overabundance of the deep fried offerings. The balance of their items are frequently both over cooked and over priced. Cocktails are a bit pricy as well (mid teens). If only there were minus Michelin star ratings... The sad part is that the Deauville is wasting a perfect setting. Great water views and even sunsets. The success a more serious restaurant could make! Apparently the owners have their priorities -- too bad, I would have become a regular!

Way, way overpriced in my opinion for what you get. I can't recommend it. Last time we were there with another couple, our tables total bill was over $300! Everyone was stunned.

My friend wanted to stop by here for some drinks during our bike ride while on vacation. We sat outside ordered a few drinks and she ordered some you peel shrimp. Service was sub par and barely saw our server during our time there, chancing her down to order more drinks and God forbid if we wanted more food. Summer help from teenagers with no work eithic they spend more time on their phones then waiting tables, this was a common sight here as I looked around trying to find out server. It seemed no one in charge at this restaurant cared and was fine with dirty tables and empty drinks on tables. The shrimp were fine but everything was so expensive, the bill was over $100 for 4 beers and shrimp and the service was in the bad category . It was nice sitting outside but it was windy and ended up being more annoying than enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and seemed orderly beside the server issues. This being said I don't think I'll be returning, bad service and extremely exorbitant prices aren't my thing.

Used to be a fun casual bar on the bay with decent food. The place is fixed up now and looks nice but the food is awful and way overpriced! As a local for 50 years I’m never going back.

This was our second visit to Deauville Inn, and both times, the food was great and the setting is beautiful. We sat outside right on the water with a lovely view. We had corn ribs, oysters, chicken wings and salad with a couple of specialty cocktails. Everything was delicious-- a nice dining experience.

I came in with my wife and we were blown away by how great the staff was to us. Trey and Johnny were both really funny together and they asked us about our vacation and Trey recommended a lot of places to visit while we're down here, just about everyone we interacted with was very friendly and seemed to genuinely like working there. I get that they sometimes have long wait times but it's a very busy place and most of the time you can get a table right away, just don't expect to sit on the water immediately at 6:30 on a Friday night. The food is top notch, my wife and I had the she crab soup and prime rib, it was one of the greatest meals I have ever had. The experience was on par with most great restaurants in New York. If you're looking for a nice place to eat down the shore, this is it.

I've typically enjoy the Deauville Inn, but today's visit was a total debacle. It was a nice late summer day after Labor Day, so I get that staffing would be an issue. I didn't think counting patrons would be as big of a challenge as it was. Our party of 5 arrived for a late lunch and we were told it was a 45 minute wait. No big deal. Great day to hang and wait for a table. 5 people one table. At 50 minutes we got a call that our table was ready. The hostess lead us to a table set up for 3. She realized that we were in fact a table of 5, which we specified 3 times during check in. They brought out a 4th chair and said "oh you need another chair?" Most people like to sit when they eat. Mind you, this table was already cramped into a corner with little room for 4. 5 would have been damn near impossible. We asked to be moved to another larger table. The hostess was confused and missed the two large tables that were free and lead us to 5 seats at the raw bar which basically would have had 5 of us spread out with an inability to talk to each other We passed. Left. The hot areas truly didn't care that she was losing customers. Went to Yesterdays in Ocean City. Our waitress Brooke recommended excellent drinks and quickly welcomed us into a spacious table that fit 5 and our food and drinks. The food at Yesterdays was far superior to the Deauville. And cheaper. The drinks were excellent, the service was impeccable and they knew how to sit a table of 5. Deauville struggled with a table for 5. And was incapable of understanding how to seat people. Save the frustration drive north, cross the 34th street bridge and have a blast at Yesterdays!

This establishment was always a fun place to go with friends and the end of the Summer season to catch the first week or two of Eagles football. Yesterday was not one of those times. We took advantage of their prime real estate sand sat out back. The game was on the TVs but we were told by several staff members that the "manager" would not turn off the music to focus on the game. Keep in mind that almost all of the patrons were dressed in football gear! As we watched the first few tables leave, we chose to stay until half time, then our group left and took our business elsewhere. Music eventually turned off but the TVs were impossible to hear. Last year, it was THE place to be at this time of year. I am sure that the "manager"is good at many things, however, making customers happy and doing what is best for the house is not one of them.
