Island Spice place wins the race. Not many good places to eat in this area. Island Spice is on point. Great portion sizes and the jerk is done on a grill. Authentic jerk. It’s uncommon these days to get a good value for your money, but A Taste Of Island Spice does just that! The food is flavorful, the portions are great, and the price is affordable. The seafood is made to order, so you’re guaranteed to get a fresh meal. I had the catfish dinner and it was delicious! My sister had the stew chicken which she said was very good. Highly recommend.Parking: Small parking lot behind the restaurant.

Ok, so Im utterly upset about this place! The beef patty I ordered was beyond disappointing, probably the worst I've ever had. The crust was dry and utterly flavorless. As someone from New York City who knows a delicious Jamaican beef patty, this was a massive disappointment. I won't be returning for their food. I tried both the veggie meat and beef patty, and there was hardly any beef in that darn patty. It's incredibly frustrating. This was one of the most regrettable $6.68 I've ever spent. I could have had a better taste experience by microwaving a frozen supermarket golden crust patty. They seriously need to find a better vendor for these patties because this just isn't cutting it, sis. Get yo life together island spice, sheesh

Hands down food is delicious . But idk if it's cus I'm a female but the woman at the counter is dry.. not horribly rude but never a smile or hello. Still I am polite, maybe it can be reciprocated one day.. Food is great but Customer service is also key. Others out there can provide both . Someone else should handle the customer service. . Jerk chicken was dry and lacked flavor (not salt, but flavor). Rice and peas also dry. The cabbage undercooked and still hard. But it’s still taste okay. 3/5 star food. Next time I try
