We enjoyed the meal very much and the service was warm and responsive. The ambiance could be enhanced by a style makeover but this factor was not enough to spoil our enjoyment of the evening. Overall 4 stars. Recommended. We will eat there again for sure.

Pretty bad across the board: food and service were both subpar. The hummus was fine but given how prominently hummus features on the menu and how delicious great hummus can be, Tavlin disappointed. The fish was not fresh, distinctive fishy flavor to an expensive fried filet of branzino which for 39 should be fresh. Mixed service, couple minor issues and just not all that welcoming.

Truly a horrendous experience! It’s too expensive for below average food! The shish kebabs tasted like nothing and were plain, and dry. Burger was RAW! We asked for it to be recooked and they completely forgot about it. The burger came once we finished our meal. The fries were frozen. The service was horrendous. The waitress showed no interest at all and no follow up on the burger or refill on water. The price was ridiculously high! The shish kebabs were $40 and the kid’s burger was $16. Overall, I will definitely not come back to this place.

Never thought I would order plain schnitzel at a restaurant... Hard to describe how good it was, but it had a light crispness which was very good... The water tasted good too...

I had the salmon and it was very good. Cook on it was excellent. It was very quiet when I went but food came out quickly. It was slightly before dinner rush normal time. The strawberry mango salad was amazing!

We had an excellent meal at Tavlin: delicious combo platter of appetizers, perfectly cooked steak shish kabob, crunchy on the outside smooth, inside fries and Israeli salad that was seasoned just right without excess dressing. We split an order of warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. We went during Sukkot and sat in the small sukkah. We reserved at an off time to make sure it was available. Since we were the only ones there, we had the undivided attention of the staff. The price was very reasonable considering what other nice restaurants charge. Will definitely return.
