Another Billy Martin Holiday - Vacation Breakfast Stop, it is our 3rd day of 8 days Vacation for July 2022.By taking 2 days Paid Time Off, I get a total of 8 days off from the turmoil of working 12 hour day's on Medic Unit's #1202 or #1201!!!Both of us enjoy trying another Small or Family Run Business for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.Kit had the Italian Omelette, with potatoes, buttered Rye Toast. She asked if they could switch out the sausage for bacon, since she was in the mood for same.Large Omelette, well cooked, moist potatoes and Rye Toast toasted to her lightness!!!Today for me, I had a repeat of Monday's choice, Pork Roll, Egg, Cheese with Jalapenos and SPK.The difference was, the bread was Sourdough for the change up!!!Also had a side of Bacon...All was delicious and the Cafe was quaint and quiet for the enjoyable Breakfast experience with Oldies Music playing in the background....Definitely a place to go too!!!

Walked in because we happen to at a store nearby. From the moment we walked in I had a feeling we should've walked out. The hostess did her best and said hello , it seemed like we were dragging the "hello" out of her. I walked in with my son, and of course we we strutting along his stroller. So def NOT kid friendly, at least not for a stroller (more my fault I guess). Waitress just plain simple, inattentive. Not a hello, no warm greeting. Nothing. "What can I get y'all to drink?" We just ordered coffee. We didn't even receive menus. She returned with our coffee and expected us to order. We requested for the menus and she came and left it on the table like it was a bother. When it came time to order out food, again she gave off the vibe as if we were bothering her. Honestly, I felt very uncomfortable ordering anything. When she approached out table, she didn't bother asking anything she just stared at us as if we should know what we want by now. I asked a simple question about the menu and I barely got an answer. Ultimately, I just went with a turkey club and my mom ordered a one egg platter. Food took a little while even though they didn't appear to be busy. The food wasn't as bad as I expected it to be tbh which is why I'm giving them two stars. However the service is why I won't return here. Didn't seem like they wanted our business and the waitress wasn't helping with her dry attitude. When we finished our food, I had to go up to the counter to ask for a to go box. The waitress never came back not even ONCE to ask if we needed anything or ask about our food. She didn't bother to bring me the bill. She gave it to someone else to ring us up. Truthfully, for someone to be that angry and bitter I would suggest looking for employment elsewhere. There's a lot of people, especially now, who are willing to work to make up for any loss from covid.

Hadn't been back to the cafe since the pandemic. This place is amazing. They have gone above and beyond and most importantly are "continuing" to take every safety precaution during the pandemic. Their food is consistently fresh and delicious. They're friendly and makes everyone who walks through their doors feel like family. It was so good to get back and taste their delicious food. Highly recommend for some delicious home cooking!

Places with coffee cups on their window should serve good coffee. Not so here. I thought the coffee was old, the color was not right and it was lousy. The waitress informed me it was Kurig! Who serves Kurig coffee to customers? And charges them after they complain about it? Fortunately there is a bagel shop a few doors down. My deluxe hamburger and the very scant portion of french fries were good. I was going to mention that the, paid for, lettuce and tomato were missing but the waitress was far from friendly.

Ordered a scoop of egg salad and a scoop of tuna and 1 soda. She wasn't wearing gloves making any of it and tore the lettuce with bare hands. 18.00?!?!! Never again...

This is my Sunday morning go-to. Maple crunch french toast is amazing! Everything on the menu is good, quality is consistent and the staff is great. If you're looking for a new breakfast spot this is a definite option.
