This is one of the best Italian bakeries I've ever been to. The pastries are amazing. They have an amazing assortment of traditional Italian baked goods I'm so glad I found this gem!

Hosted my daughter’s baby shower and LaScala did not disappoint. Delicious, beautiful cake and fresh cookies! Would highly recommend. They were very accommodating since this was held over Easter weekend which is a very busy time.

I’ve been going to this Italian bakery for decades and I’m not happy that I have to make this review….first I must say that over the years everything was always excellent…price and quality…this year the price of a lg Easter pie was $33….but even more disappointing is that it wasn’t very good….dried out and over baked…for that cost you cannot sell something that you had to know was over baked almost inedible…?

I normally love this place, but I stopped in on Saturday to get an Easter bread and it was terrible. Got a single egg one and it was hard, dry and flat. More like an over baked cookie than bread. I expect way better from you than that.

This was my very first visit to a "mom and pop shop" Italian bakery and why haven't I done so sooner?! La Scala is a pastry lovers paradise! There are cannoli and biscotti and cream puffs and more! Fresh baked breads, creamy cakes, napolitan, cookies, and buns fill the displays. The lady behind the counter was really friendly and happy to tell us about their goodies and give us Italian food recommendations in town. We ended up with a bunch of pastries (can't remember all of their names) that were so good! The only one I didn't care for was the tiramisu. It was synthetic and uninspired. Other than that, everything else was so yummy! I would come back :)
