No longer a Mellow Mushroom. Higher prices, awful atmosphere compared the the OG, and all of their lovely vegan toppings removed aside from tofu and vegan cheese. WHO PUTS TOFU ON PIZZA??? This change is horrid and restrictive. I hope MM comes back once more. This was my favorite vegan pizza joint (with good plain pies too) and one of the best vegan places in NJ, if not the best. Immensely dissatisfied. Will likely never be back

This is now lot 11 11. Small menu food is average at best. They need to offer more choices. The personal pie with 4 small slices is $16.00 needs more cheese. They changed the wing recipe not a fan. Waitstaff stands around on their phones while you wait wait and wait. They need to do something or they will not survive. 4 people at the bar on a Friday. 3 Tables occupied. Maybe offer a happy hour with specials or something.

I gave this place a lot of tries as my husband plays in the band there , and every time we go the food is mediocre or gross at best. Service sucked. Took them forever for anything. I had to get menus from the bar back. Took forever for our food to come out and when it was served it was cold. My husband had to hunt down our server who was holding our credit card out in the parking lot. He was not happy !

No longer the Mellow Mushroom. “Lot 11 Eleven” had good food. But the atmosphere was poor and depressing, the prices were insane and the portions were very small. I would not suggest coming here until they clean up better. Don’t see this staying open long.

Have been to many locations in other states and was finally nearby to try this one. Couldn’t find it at first. Restaurant name has changed and signage was seen on the ground next to the building.

Looks like this place has reopened under another name. It is no longer Mellow Mushroom. However the menu seems to be very similar to Mellow Mushroom's. The place was empty. The young woman who seated us was also our server. Food was good. I would go back once everything gets situated.
This is no longer a Mellow Mushroom so imagine our surprise when they answered the phone and they took our usual order only for us to show up and find out it's no longer the same restaurant.Upon entering they assured us it's the same menu but the food ended up completely sub par. The only reason to get mellow mushroom in NJ was their unique and tasty wheat crust but this new restaurant made two bad medium pizzas for nearly $40.Bait and switch.

This happens everytime we go to this location, service sucks. We sat at the bar, ordered 2 beers then ordered appetizers, then ordered a calzone. Waited 20+ minutes to check time then realized a couple who was seated after we got there got served before us the exact same appetizers as us only to be told the server took our appetizers gave it to them. We were then told ours would be out in a couple more minutes, one of the problem s is that we and the other couple were the only ones who ordered food, counting the other couple there were less than 12 patrons. If you add to that they were working behind the bar painting over uncovered areas that served drinks and food. How do you say it's okay to make it uncomfortable by serving other people your appetizers, food and drinks, while workers on a ladder do their job at around 1:30 - 2:00pm. We don't appreciate service that is constantly slow over the past roughly 12 times we've been in to try to have a good meal. The reason for the amount of times is represented by the type of service we get.
Fun trivia night! Good atmosphere. Pizza is decent but think crust is same thickness as regular crust and overall pizza was a bit mushy. Would skip the wings.

Cool place. But it's a pizza place from a state, that's not known for good pizza, in New Jersey.... Wings were wet not crispy b/c they're bake and not fried. I guess if you like dominos or pizza hut this is a place to check out. Local beers on tap and a big bar area you'll always find a seat.

I have been going here once every few months since they opened. I loved their pizza. It had a unique dough that was thick and tasty. And the pretzel bites and beer cheese were awesome. I went there last week (1/3/2023) and was very disappointed to see they significantly changed their recipes. Of course they didn't note this anywhere and still charged the same very high prices. A large pizza with a couple toppings is like $28. I didn't mind the premium for what they had, but now they are serving chucky cheese quality pizza with what seemed like microwave pretzel bites and cheese wiz beer cheese. Seriously. This place is awful now. Don't go there.

No more mushroom soup. Place changing hands . Had half Italian sub which in a pizza place is plenty big.... NOT AT MELLOW mushroom. It was so small with nothing in it. Good thing got a bag of potatoe chips . Stopping mushroom soup. I said bad move.

I understand that the restaurant is changing but this was the worst experience that I ever had going out to eat. Waiter took almost 45min to greet us, the beer we ordered was completely flat and the price is different then the menu a big red flag coming in the culinary world. The food was decent, ordered wing and they were dry but not far gone and their pizza was actually a good pie. I would love to see the new place but after my experience, I don't think I will come back.
