Very friendly and helpful staff. Remember that this is a restaurant in a hotel, so you can't expect too much. Food was good. Very good.

This location has unreliable internet access, low quality morning coffee, poor breakfast offerings. On the up side it is clean. The only reason we use it is convenient location for our needs. We tried the only other convenient option and found it unacceptable.

Overall clean and acceptable level of service, the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. I wasn't pleased with the number of smokers right outside the front entrance since we do not smoke, and the hotel should have better control and/or designate a smoking area far away from the front door. The free coffee was a nice touch, and expected given the high seasonal prices but there was no creamer or milk, only the gross non-dairy creamer placed out. Overall a clean place good to stay. Be careful exiting the parking lot, as there is somewhat of a blind curve on the left.

Stayed for a mini vacation and the room was very clean, the girl at the front desk was extremely friendly and had a wonderful stay. Will be coming back next year and look forward to another stay with them

I was attending a wedding in Lakewood, NJ. There are surprisingly very few hotels nearby there that aren't on the shore. I had in the past stayed at a Ramada in Toms River, but I learned that it had been sold and turned into an office building. For some reason, Lakewood has very few hotels. I had stayed at one of the only other nearby hotels, a Hilton, but it is overpriced. I saw the Days Hotel, and it got good reviews. The bride's grandmother told me a friend had stayed there and had given a good report, so I booked a reservation. The Days Hotel Toms River was a pleasant surprise. It was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! No dirt, no signs of bugs. no stains in the bathtub! No cracked tiles or mismatched wallpaper. And I asked for maid service after the first night, and they gave it to me, complete with all fresh towels, bedding, and amenities, made the bed, vacuumed, and cleaned the coffee area, even not waiting until late in the afternoon, as some hotels do. And it looked like the hotel had just been redecorated. Not 1950s dreary with holes in the carpet and broken tiles in the bathroom. Very tasteful with light, simple colors: just the way I like it. The hotel was very quiet, no rowdy guests, and it was set back from the highway, so no road noise, as well. And a big parking lot in front (free) with no driving around and around for a space, even after I returned from the wedding late at night. And it is conveniently located to the main streets leading to Lakewood, which was important to me. Staff was nice, and there were two computers in the lobby with Internet + a printer for guests to use. It's a four-story hotel, and I had a room on the top floor, which I had requested. I had noticed before I left that the room rate (AAA - two double beds) since I made the reservation had gone down. I pointed that out when I checked in, and the agent behind the desk matched that rate. And there was always someone behind the desk, regardless of time of day. And they answered the phone!! There was a restaurant in the hotel that I didn't use, but they were very nice and gave me plastic silverware and disposable dishes so I could eat in my room the special-diet food I had brought. The room also had a large mini-fridge (that functioned well!) So overall I would say it was much better even than staying at the old Ramada. And better than the Hilton. at a much lower price. And 1, 000 times better than an old Best Western I stayed in once, which apparently is also kaput. Only complaint was that one of only two elevators was out of order, and it wasn't fixed the whole time I was there (3 days, 2 nights). But there usually wasn’t a wait for the other elevator.

Booked this hotel for a softball tournament several months ago. Arrived and rooms that should have been blocked together were scattered all over the hotel. Only 1 elevator in the entire building rotted, washer did not work, hotel pool was gross and public areas were closed very early and restricted to specific guests. Staff was not friendly or accommodating.

The staff that I had encountered during my stay was nice, friendly and helpful from the front checkin, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant staff. Check in and out is quick. If I needed anything such as an extra towel I was able to get. The hotel is clean and there is housekeeping everyday for the rooms. They had water, coffee and tea out all the time I had stayed. Near to beaches, boardwalks and choices of restaurants as well as stores and a mall. There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast and dinner. We were there for one of my child’s sport competitions that was held at a nearby night school and arena.

Great place to stay. Bed comfortable, room super clean and all staff we spoke with were friendly. Would recommend for people to stay and we will come back again. Wish we would have more time to enjoy it all.

I found the hotel to be clean and the beds were comfortable. I learned at check in that there was a wedding so the hotel was full, and asked if I could possibly get a room away from the noise or activity. They gave us a nice quiet location at the end of the hall, which was perfect. I didn't give a 5 rating because the one thing was that the room, which I am pretty sure was non smoking, smelled strongly of smoke.

NEVER go here with a group or if you need any kind of special accommodation. If you need your room cleaned, need a specific type of room, or want access to drink/food vending machines, this place isn’t for you. I gave 2 stars bc the hotel itself was cosmetically nice and the beds were comfortable. Customer Service was present, but not helpful. When booking a block, I would talk to one person, get it all set, then call back and no one could find my room block reservation. Parents would call to book rooms and would be told there as no block under our name. I had to call back at least 3 times, it was awful and embarrassing as a coordinator. As a softball coach, I needed an adjoining room for kids whose parents couldn’t attend the tournament. Booked the adjoining room a couple months a prior, was told we would have the room. Drove 5 hours, got to the hotel, was told we were not given an adjoining room despite being promised and that our 2 rooms were down the hall from each other. We were told there were only 4 sets of adjoining rooms and the hotel was full. There was absolutely zero effort from the front desk staff to try to rectify the situation despite being told we wanted to be close for the safety of our kids. We ended up getting a room with an adjoining door, but not given the room it leads to. Another person on our team ended up getting a room with an adjoining door and a teammate next door. The rooms next to us, right next door, were people from our party. The people across the hall were people from our party. Would have been nice to at least have a room in close proximity considering we had an abundance of kids with us. We asked the front desk if we could get the sheets changed in our room, we were met with a “maybe, I don’t know” from the front desk, zero help. They changed one set of sheets and left the other a mess. TLDR: Go somewhere else.
