50 Years living in the area. Why did it take me so long to stop in? The place makes you feel like a little kid, with the carousel and the Bugs Bunny cartoons, and the Ice-cream is top notch! Well, now I know where I will be spending my senior years eating ice cream!

They used to have vegan vanilla soft serve that was better than any regular soft serve I’ve ever had but then they changed the recipe and now it’s not good. Please go back to how it used to be made!

I think they switched their hours to close at 9pm in September because they were closed right after 9pm on Sunday. However, the website says this branch is still until 9:30/10pm and only the Brick location closes at 9pm. ???? Not sure why.

I was just driving by an had a ice cream craving so jump in here for a quick treat OMG im so happy I did i wanted an cholate shake hooked up an the guy there hooked it up with black cherry mixed thru it...OMG IT HIT THE SPOT!!!

Yellow Brick Road has the best ice cream in the area! Every single time, the ice cream and sundaes are perfect and they have everything! May I suggest the brownie pizza? The base is in collaboration with Red Rose Bakery in Silverton. So good! My Mom and brother love the jolted cow. Aside from that, their staff is friendly, the shop is clean, and I have known the Roses for years. If you haven't tried them you should! I'm sure you'll fall in love with their ice cream!

This place was very busy but the line moved very quickly. They have dairy free options which is great. The place could use a good cleaning.

Happy Sundae Sunday, Yelp!! To properly celebrate, I went to the Yellow Brick Road Carousel after dinner. If there's one thing I love about YBR, it's the decorations. The Looney Tunes cutouts and miniature Ferris wheel sculptures are so random that they just seem so right. I feel like I'm being transported into a little kid's playroom, and, since there's ice cream, I love it! I had a "flurry", which is essentially YBR's version of a Dairy Queen Blizzard. You could only get vanilla soft serve as a flurry base, but that was fine with me because I planned to add a lot of mix-ins. I added Reese's Cups and chocolate rocks to my flurry. I ordered a small, but there was more than envy ice cream in the 12-oz cup. My sister got a cake batter milkshake, and it was outrageously sweet. It tasted like frozen buttercream icing. Besides ice cream, YBR offers ice cream cake and cupcakes, frozen dog treats, candy, and even branded t-shirts! I was tempted to test my luck with the gumball machine...if you get the "winner" gumball, you win a chance to spin the Wheel of Fortune! A similar fun opportunity to win a prize is by simply looking at the bottom of your cup once you've finished your ice cream. If there's a picture of a carousel horse at the bottom, you win a free sundae! These fun little games really add to the whimsical, youthful nature of the restaurant. I know I will be back to YBR (I really want to find a horse at the bottom of my cup!)
