I love Jersey Mikes, however I was in Totowa and decided to go to that location. The customer service was friendly, but my sandwiches were horrible. They had little to no meat, and when I asked the guy about the meat he said it's there, the turkey & cheese were really wet and soggy with all this lettuce it was hardly no meat, the third sandwich was a steak & cheese hardly no meat also. I was very disappointed when I got home, because it was going to be my dinner. As I mentioned I usually go to the one in West Orange and never had this problem. It was 58.00 lost because I wasn't satisfied. I won't be going to this location again.

So I went in yesterday morning with my wife to get a couple sandwiches for us now I really don’t do reviews like this but I have to for this. The lady in the front slicing the meat was very rude and loud the place was very dirty and they made our sandwiches horrible it’s like it was done bad intentions. The guy up front with the braids also was not professional and acted like he had a problem with me snatched my money out of my hand and then gave me my change back with an attitude not a thank you or anything he just gave us a bad look. All in all they all looked like they didn’t want to work and take my order so when I go home to eat it the sandwich was disgusting as well. The Jersey Mikes in Wayne are the best they are professional and very polite and their service is amazing. Totowa I definitely give you guys a zero star and also the place was dirty don’t have a clue of why was it that dirty but I will not be going back to this place for sure.

Had the #66, the amount of steak 'um was good, nearly no veggies though, bread was OK, a little mushy, and dare I say it, too much cheese. I didn't care for the taste of their American cheese, too salty. I would've preferred provolone. Odly, the only thing I remember was the cheese, which I didn't like. Also, the place, while clean, had this weird old grease odor, not pleasant at all. I wouldn't want to eat there. Maybe they were having ventilation issues? All-in-all, about what you'd expect for a franchise sub. But at 12 bucks for a 7 inch sandwich, sorry Mike, I'll not be running back.
