The roti wasn't too bad, but the curry needs improvement, has no taste Coming from NY, there's just no comparison. I usually got to roti plus, but they're closed in Sundays.

This food is a reminder of my youth in Trinidad. Snacks you can’t find anywhere else. Drinks so authentic. The food is amazing and the place smells like my mom’s kitchen. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
This was our first time visiting the restaurant and the food was delicious! The staff were very pleasant. We will definitely be back for more.

Very good curry chicken wrap huge enough for two. I can't wait to go back. Clean small friendly business

Ordered lunch. The curried chicken was watery, unflavored, almost tasteless. Tasted like if they were trying to increase the amount of the food and just added water. The dhalpurie and paratha roti was stiff and oily, like if it was made with pre-used oil. The soda was old and had a plastic taste. Unable to eat the food bought and trashed everything including the soda. This is not the first time I have purchased food but this is the worst and will be the last time.

When the old guy ran it was truly one of the greatest. Its unlikely you could get better roti even in Flatbush. Its been through a few owners since though and now its just a shadow of its former self. If you never had roti before you'll be OK because you don't have an existing baseline to work from. But if you know what the real thing is like then run. When the old guy ran it the service was always friendly with a smile. New owners roll their eyes at having to serve people. My main recommendation would be to go to Flatbush if you can. But if not there's another roti shop down the road in Trenton which is better all round, I'd just go there.

Less than one week back from a trip to the Caribbean and I'm back to Hot on D-Spot. It didn't disappoint. The roti here is A-plus.

Over the years, I've been coming here and things have only gotten worse. I was hoping for a miracle in 2021, but after tonight's experience, I won't be back.

10/10 in my book all day, every day! I drive 40 minutes to visit Annie and her shop! The food is so delicious. My favorites are the doubles (obviously) and the roti. On the doubles I get chicken, shrimp, and extra pepper sauce! On the roti, I usually do boneless chicken. Regardless of what you get, the food will be fresh and mouth watering! I highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for a delicious Trinidadian restaurant!

Amazing trini place. Had the goat roti and then some things I'd never heard of that my mom who is from Trinidad wanted me to try. Super nice staff and some great comfort food.

My fiancé brought home some Curry Chicken Roti. The curry chicken was like you just added some water in the curry and warm it up. The gravy water had zero thickness to it and it was translucent. At this moment I believe I have the runs. Worse Chicken Roti I’ve ever ate!

Soooo tasty and traditional! I live in DC and my mom had me call in two dozen to take back with me. We also got, shrimp roti, chicken roti, chicken stew, and a chicken double. All dishes were good portion size, flavorful, and so darn delish. I'm excited for leftovers. I like that you have the option to get the roti stuffed or items and roti seperate.
