“True authentic Guatemalan food & bakery. My dad always orders from here and the portions are gigantic and the prices are low. It's so difficult trying to find good Guatemalan food or restaurants however this spot offers a very large selection of baked breads and a buffet. The bakery does not offer sit down seating, only takeout. And the tamales are a must try. They have large tamales and little ones but I can't resist buying the large size. Staff is very friendly however the location is not in the safest of areas (probably best to go during the day & not at night). If you're in the area and are looking for Guatemalan tamales you have got to come here!“
“Love this bakery especially for latin baked goods. I buy their corn muffins often at least 4 times a week. The most beautiful and amazing staff. They help me with learning spanish very family orientated and now they have seats to eat in the bakery awesome!“
“I just want to thank Kelsey and the other staff at KK sweets for making an absolutely beautiful cake for my friend’s 30th birthday on such short notice.I had called 3 different bakeries and was having such a hard time getting a cake made because of her birthday falling on Easter weekend. I had finally found a bakery to do it, but then found on the morning before the party that they were cancelling last minute and left me in a jam. Luckily, many people recommended KK sweets and Kelsey was so accommodating and helpful in making an absolutely perfect cake that was so delicious. “My wife is obsessed with cafes/ bakeries, especially if there's a French twist to them. This place is charming and enchanting. It has plenty of seating and a cozy couch, along with free wifi making it a great place to work. The food options are endless. It took me 10 minutes to decide what I wanted because too many things looked amazing! The owner is a wonderfully kind woman, she was patient with me and answered all my questions and gave me some recommendations on the best sellers. The spinach and feta croissant is to die for. It is a must try in my opinion. It was flaky, warm, buttery, with the perfect amount of salt. I'm usually a person that like hot sauce on everything. But this pastry was perfect just as it was. I also got the French beignets, chocolate and raspberry. If you come here, ask for everything to be warmed up, and sit and enjoy the meal you just got. I can't wait to bring my wife back and try that they have in their lunch menu along with the pastries they have.“
