Allow me to begin by stating that I'm born & raised in New Jersey. I've been to NY for pizza, and lord knows how many spots in New Jersey I've been to. I believe I have a good idea as to what I like and what characteristics I look for in a slice of pizza before I slam it or give it praise. ...I have personally only been to two places for pizza in Trenton, this being one of them. I've been visiting here the past two weeks straight for lunch and I'm falling in love with the pizza. Again, taste is subjective so not everybody is going to like the same thing. For me, I enjoy it because of the size of the slice (almost like a "boardwalk" sized slice) the toppings, whether pepperoni, sausage etc. are also generously portioned. The crust crispy, but not too hard. The cheese a little oily (not bad, just a sign of fresh quality cheese) and delicious... and lastly, the sauce. OMG, the sauce. Of course fresh, with a slight hint of basil maybe and a little sweet. Ties it all together beautifully for me. The people there have also been extremely kind and hospitable. Didn't even charge me for a refill (although, I gave them a tip instead) I also have to mention about the comments here in regards to cleanliness... We're talking a busy intersection in a major city. ...A lot of foot traffic to say the least, give them a break. Every time I personally have sit down to eat, the tables have been wiped down and clean. I'm sure dirty construction workers like myself don't make it any easier.
