I remember Henry’s Deli when I was 5 years old in 1983 and have always been one of most loved and respected establishments in my neighborhood and I’m so happy they are still going strong

Polish deli with great food! Don't worry if you don't speak Polish as there is always someone who speaks English as well. There are ready-made breakfast sandwiches but I suggest asking for a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll, eggs done light. It's worth the wait and your mouth will thank you! Lunch has pierogie, breaded fish, keilbasa and other rotating options. There's lots of strange and interesting Polish and European candy and drinks to capture your interest while waiting for your food to be prepared. When you leave be sure to say "Jen coo etchi" which is phonetic for "thank you" in Polish. ??

Trying to keep up with Gerald and his travels! I had the kielbasa and egg sandwich. It was great. The flavor of the kielbasa was on point and the perfect snap as I bit into it. Roll was soft and I had the double egg on it. Great great great.

Henry's Deli is an authentic Polish emporium on Brunswick Avenue, north of Olden, in the heart of Trenton's Little Warsaw. In the morning it is full of Polish speaking men on their way to work, and old world women behind the counter. The shop is small, but is packed with delicacies from the homeland, including an ample display of kielbasas, baked goods and assorted smoked meats. I must have arrived late for breakfast (9:15), because all that was available to me was a kielbasa, egg and cheese sandwich on a larger than standard round roll. It looked like the kitchen was already preparing lunch, as the grill and stove were occupied with steaming caldrons of soup and grilling bacon. I ate at my desk. The sandwich was very good with thin, mild kielbasa, fried egg and melted American cheese holding the sliced roll solidly together. The taste of the smoked sausage dominated nicely, but the egg and cheese weren't forgotten in the mastication. It all hung together well. If I am in the neighborhood later in the day, those golumpki and potato latkes looked terrific in the display case. Reminded me of the dishes my grandmother from Bialystok used to make. Can't wait to find out.

DO NOT BUY THERE! THE POLISH LADY that works there NEVER USES GLOVES TO SLICE MEAT OR BREAD... DURING THE PANDEMIC THEY DONT WEAR MASKS AND DONT ADHERE TO ANY CDC STANDARDS OR BASIC SANITATION REQUIREMENTS. The polish lady that works there is also very rude, condescending and just nasty to customers.

Very poor customer service. I had a very unpleasant experience in this place. After I asked employee to wear two gloves while cutting the cold cuts, the manager started yelling at me!!! Rather than correct emoloyee's action. No mask, no gloves, the employee who cuts the cold cuts with no gloves(or only one!) Then touch the cash register and money, then return to work still with no gloves or washing the hands. Therefore, the next day when I came to talk with the owner, employees did want to call the owner from the office when I asked to speak with her.I hope that the owner read the reviews. Please train your employees how to interact with clients, especially your manager. She should give a good example to your employees, not yell at clients. Very poor personal behavior of a manager, lack of competency , lack of professionalism.

Good selection of cold and hot sandwiches along with secwral choices of complete meals (such as veal tongue, stuffed cabbage, ground pork cutlet, breaded pork chop, or "Hunter's Stew") that come with a choice of salad (of course, you got to try their sauerkaut) and potatoes. The prices are quite budget-friendly.One important thing to bear in mind, unless you speak Polish, do not rely on GrubHub or even a phone call. Due to certain language barriers you are not guaranteed to get the right thing. Come in person and enjoy their pierogies and kielbasa.
