The reviews for this place were all over the place so I was hesitant to go now that they are more of a Venezuelan restaurant. I was honestly really shocked to walk inside and have it look more like a hole in the wall bar than a restaurant, plus the giant tv screen with security were pretty off-putting. We decided to not be so judgey on the dark decor and instead test out some plates from their extensive menu. Hubby ordered a shrimp arepa and a chicken arepa. He preferred the shrimp arepa, I liked the chicken better. I ordered a Patacon con todo (a large plantain fried and filled like a sandwich with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and pink sauce). The sandwich was good, but had way too much sauce. My son had the steak with rice and beans, and the steak was awful. It was chewy, overcooked and full of fat. The beans were also not that great. Overall, I didn't feel like the customer service was great here (our server was fine, but nothing to really note), the place is super dark and gloomy (the music was not even good), combined with the giant security cameras...it's a miss for me. If you are single and looking for a place to grab a drink and some real food, I think this would be the place for you.

Good evening to the owner, my boyfriend and his cousins ate at your restaurant tonight. They charged him a tip that they did not add, in addition to the 15% that they had already paid, they took an additional $40 and when he complained, the employee's response was “you lost.” Tips are NOT mandatory, the correct thing to do was to return what was incorrectly charged. They didn't lose but with this scam you lost clients, what a disappointment! Be careful with what you pay, check your receipts carefully. The only solution they gave him was to pay everything again twice!!! It's abuse!!Responses to whoever responded: Whether it was a mistake or not, these are not ways to respond or resolve a situation. Saying “you lost” was unnecessary, you don't play with other people's money. Be more respectful and train your employees better!

Exceptional food and service once again. The Arroz Cantonese, Chicharron with fried Cassava, Arepas, Empanadas, Chicken Soup. Everything is fresh and delicious.
I liked the place, good music ? it de-stresses you, very good food for Latinos Mirna and the Colombian girl serve very well 5 stars ? more for Venezuelans and Colombians, everyone will like it. Good arepas burgers ? I will keep coming backParking: Latin restaurant-type public, no niche or ugly people go, it seems like a good place to me.

Avoid it, they overcharge and don't care about their customers. The food is not good, the atmosphere is not good. They should get people to work there who actually want to work there, instead of forcing their "family" to work there.

They have English/Spanish karaoke on Thursday nights at 8:30. The food is great and it’s a take out bar too! The owners are real friendly and the crowd always feels very safe fun and diverse.cool local spot. New owners I think too.
