Joey's Pizza is tucked away in a small strip mall near the library in Hamilton. I'm willing to give any pizzeria in the area a try as plenty of residents of Italian ancestry live in the area, so standards for pizza and Italian food I've found are generally pretty high, and you usually can't go wrong stopping in. The interiors are honestly a bit drab and generic looking. I understand it's more pizzeria than restaurant, but they could put up a few pictures or paintings on their spartan walls to liven up the decor and make for a more welcoming place to eat. We wanted to try out a few things since this was our first time dining here, so started off with the garlic knots (3.5/5). While not the best I've had in the area, they were decent with wonderful garlic accents without being overly saturated in oil. The chicken parmigiana sandwich (3/5) had a decent breaded chicken (not overly thin like some places), but was otherwise plain tasting and came with a roll of lower quality than other eateries in the area, with average tasting sauce, cheese, and side of French fries.The cheese pizza (2.5/5) looked absolutely incredible, and was baked to perfection on the bottom, but the dough and crust had virtually zero zest or pop to it. It had all the looks of a much better pizza, but the crust would rank near the bottom of central New Jersey pizzerias in quality (perhaps I caught them on an off day in the kitchen/prep work as others seem to rave about the pizza). The cheese and sauce on the pizza were decent enough, but I really expected better of the crust. Service was otherwise friendly by the one girl tasked with attending to guests dining in. While I'm glad to have checked Joey's Pizza off the list of pizzerias I've tried in Hamilton, it's not likely a place I'd return to or recommend based on other higher quality options in town.

Dropped into Joey's on a whim. Noisy, crowed and decor a little., eh... BUT, the food was very good (old-fashioned pizza and a cheese steak) and our server was a gem. -Mike

Today i purchased a small plain pie for 16.00 i also ordered two slices the cost for the two slices was $8.00 are you kidding me. At first i thought they overcharged me but that was the correct cost. So, i paid for everything rest assure this is the last time i pay $8.00 for overcooked pizza from this place.

Me & my father love Joe's! The whole family at that! I moved hours away but I always come to Joe's when in town & my father always orders here. Quality & quantity are right on point!Vegetarian options: I love the meats & they load it up so a vegetarian would I guess try without meat which everything I've tried here is delicious !Dietary restrictions: They asked if I want my chicken breaded or not so I assume they do low card. My mother's a pescatarian so they've fixed up a plate for her beforeParking: A little small but there's always parking

I love Joeys pizza! My family from out of town has to order takeout every time they visit. Their salads are fresh and delicious. The portions are generous. Their sauce is perfection. Try their cheesesteaks and homemade onion rings. We have tried everything on the menu (almost...) and they always deliver the best!
