“A typical sports bar, more bar seats than tables. Loud Live music and plenty of televisions. House of Brews has a wide variety of burgers with more toppings than you can imagine and a huge selection of beers, just don't ask for a proper pour on a Guinness, it doesn't happen. Service is good and cleanliness isn't bad. Not a place I would take children, it is an adult place to go.“

“I was the Xfinity outdoor bar last night to go to the Phillies game. All of the bar tenders were attentive and super friendly. Ryan made me a delicious sangria, and provided some great suggestions of where i should eat in the city. It was fun hanging out at the bar since the staff was so friendly . “This was a perfect brunch spot!! I was surprised as how spacious the area was, just how I like it!! The food was delicious! Today, I got the chicken and biscuits. You can tell the biscuits were homemade with an authentic recipe. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. I ate half and placed the rest for later! The service was also amazing. Our waitress was patient with us when we were deciding our orders and refilled our drinks as we needed them. Overall, this experience was great. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There’s a selection of vegetarian items. I believe you can remove or substitute meat products with other things as well.Parking: I was unaware where this place was located so I wasn’t expecting a struggle trying to find parking. There’s street parking and paid parking lots. Street parking is very narrow and I believe that’s also for pay. Plan accordingly!Kid-friendliness: There are many food and drink options that children would love! Look at their menu prior!“

“My baby girl had the best time as she soooo enjoyed the food, the attention from the patrons, along with the crayons and coloring book!! We were a party of three, which included My great grand daughter, my first born daughter along with myself! .Nice atmosphere!“

“First, let me start by saying that the service was five stars. Normally I can nitpick something about the staff whether timeliness or otherwise - but I must say all the staff was courteous, professional, timely, and accommodating. If I were to recommend any restaurant based on the service provided by staff - this would be one of the top-ranking restaurants. They were phenomenal without flaw in any way.Hearthside is a BYOB with a four-course menu - each course having options you can choose between. I can only give feedback on the dishes I have tried. Overall the food was above par for the most part with a few exceptions.For the first course, we had tuna sashimi, Sicilian pistachio butter, sun-dried tomato, and octopus, cilantro emulsion, jicama, jalapeno. The tuna was decently thick and even cut, and fresh, and the pleasant flavors from the tomato and pistachio did not overpower the fish itself. It was slightly more oily than anticipated - but because of the decent size of the tuna cut it was still a delightful dish. The octopus was one of my favorites - it was cooked perfectly, and the smoke from the wood fire was chargrilled into the skin. My only complaint was that the amount of salt was a bit overpowering. I found that it took away a bit from the masterpiece that the octopus was.For the second course we had the cavetelli cavatelli, fennel, lamb merguez, ricotta espuma which tasted remarkably rich and satisfying. I also tried the burrata flatbread which was a menu addition. While the ingredients were fresh, the burrata at the center lacked any addition of pesto or otherwise - so while the ends tasted delightful, the balance was lost in the center of the dish.For the third course we had the half chicken, smoked Calabrian chili hot sauce, dill - it was cooked perfectly but the sauce was a little underwhelming. The second main was the monkfish, sunchokes, mussels, citrus ginger broth. The monkfish again was cooked perfectly, but wasn't anything remarkable. The broth was thin, and while refreshing, there was no component to make it cling to the fish at all. I would have liked to see the monkfish with a thicker sauce more reminiscent of a lobster dish. For the last course we had both the opera cake and the budino. The opera cake was pleasant, layers were even, and the strawberry was delightful. The budino was excessively salty - I salted nutella pudding. As someone who loves salted caramel-like flavors, I was disappointed. This combination did not work and is the only dish I would not recommend.Overall the food was high quality and innovative. For had a few bites and was unable to finish it. It tasted like an overly the price there should be little room for imperfections. I was most pleased with the octopus and tuna first course selections, and most disappointed with the main course and the budino.It can be difficult to get everything right with a rotating menu - I will likely be back again to see if the menu changes the difference in the food.The staff and atmosphere were definitely one of my highest-rated aspects of this restaurant. Excellent service - and the chef cooked everything perfectly despite some small misses in flavor details.“

“I was surprised, being there for the first time for dinner, that Tuscan Bistro had lobster bisque soup and bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer, my two favorites. I asked if it was regularly on the menu, and was told no, but the ingredients for the bacon wrapped scallops are always on the menu, so it could be made to order. My husband had the staple, Chicken Parmesan, which he said was very good and tender. We will definitely be going back for dinner, and not only for lunch. Service was excellent, prices were comparable, and meals were delicious.“

“To my surprise this place is a great place. The atmosphere is great..lots of TVs to watch what ever sports you want. The food is delicious. I enjoyed the basket of fries with my friends and the burger was delicious. Service is great. Also very surprised by the ladies room. It was super clean and the attendant was really nice. “Came for the wings and this place did not disappoint! A typical sports bar and really good food! For the wings, we got the fat daddy sauce and man did they definitely NOT skimp on the size of these jumbo wings! Nice and crispy, lots of meat and great flavors with the sauce. I already know I wanna come back to try more of their sauces. Got some loaded tots and some pierogis as well. Delicious! Sat at the bar, service was great. Will definitely be back!“

“Went for the first time last Friday, it was packed! However finding seats were no problem. The the food was GREAT (crab bites?, chips, fries?, fried cod fish??, garlic parm chicken, and a cheeseburger) I really WISH THEY HAD BIGGER CRAB BITES and/or CRAB CAKES!!!! We didn’t have any drinks. However I’m going back but this time with the girls instead of the guys lol and I’ll be having drinks this go round! Great VIBES and PLENTY OF PARKING!“

“My boyfriend and I split the Loaded Pork sandwich and The Dave (BBQ Pulled pork with Crisp Bacon and a smashed Mac & Cheese ball!). Both had tender meat and came out hot.The Dave: A TON of meat on this sandwich. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce on the meat. Served on a round roll. The Crisp Bacon added a nice crunch. Make sure you are hungry, and ask for extra napkins!Loaded Pork Sandwich: The roasted pork was seasoned nicely, complimented by Roasted Red Peppers, sauteed Spinach and a generous amount of Provolone Cheese. The pork had a nice flavor and was juicy. Served on a long roll, which was very fresh.I also ordered the Brussels Sprouts, which were some of the best I have tried. Roasted in garlic and butter, with parmesan. Some nice crisp pieces as well. A decent serving size - enough for two people to share. I would order these again!!For a treat we ordered the Bread Pudding Bites. These were phenomenal. Enough for 2-3 people to share (maybe even 4 if you each just want a few to taste). Cubes of Bread Pudding that are Deep Fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar - very tasty! Dense like bread pudding should be, but with a funnel cake vibe. They were fantastic as they are served (The bread pudding is flavored well and perfectly moist), but next time, I want to order these with a scoop of Ice Cream which would take the dessert to the next level.Overall Experience:Service was on point (never had to ask for my water to be refilled), and the food came out Quickly. There is a nice Variety to choose from - something on the menu for everyone! Clean restaurant with a Modern Vibe. Great spot for a work lunch or sit-down dinner with family. Lots of Local Beer on tap with plenty of space to sit at the bar as well if you are into the drinking scene. Filling meal and a great value for the amount of food you get. I will be back next time I am in the area for sure.Thank you for a great meal!!“

“Cap'N Cats was a Favorite of our family, especially my Dad and mines, when I was a kid in the 70s. I hadn't been there in years. So, on My Dad's birthday I brought my Mom there for Clams on the Half shell, and a Fried Oyster platter. The platters were large in portion. So much so, we had platters for the next day. }“

“Our first time there and it was fantastic! We figured we'd make a light meal by just ordering and picking at few small appetizers. WRONG! Yes, they were appetizers, but the portions were huge! We had the Short Rib Poutine, Prosciutto Flatbread, Meatballs with creamy Ricotta, and Filet salad. All that, plus an Iced Tea and a Ginger Ale came to about ninety dollars. The atmosphere was nice. Noisy, but not overly so, and the service was brisk and friendly.“

“PHENOMENAL!!!! My friend and I are touring South Jersey diners we have never visited. We started our journey today with the Westmont Diner. We both are wondering if this establishment is going to be the best. My friend has his usual, the turkey platter. He is the guy who has most meals made by others. By his third bite in, he stated this turkey dinner was the best he's ever had at a diner! This is the go to guy for many on where to eat. He knows his stuff! He chose the chicken and rice soup that he said was excellent. Fresh home made bread, served hot and whipped butter accompany dinner meals. The bread is that good! I had the half roasted chicken with fresh spinach and this too was exceptional. The chicken was cooked to perfection. I chose the dinner salad and that too was so good. Lettuce with carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and fresh sprinkled cheese and croutons. So good. Our waiter made the experience that more special. So efficient and kind. I followed his recommendations and am so glad I did. A great tell tale sign of a good diner in the parking lot. We waited for a table to be cleared. When seated in the large dining area, every table was filled. You could tell there were lots of regulars that are known by name. This is a very clean establishment that is nicely decorated. We don't live close to the Westmont Diner but will be visiting on a regular basis. Highly Recommend!!!!“

“This place is classic south philly. The Sausage egg and cheese was cheap and delicious. The bun was both sturdy and yet soft. The eggs were fresh fried. And the sausage was salty and fatty and delicious as it should be.The coffee was only mediocre. But this ain't a place for hipster coffee snobs like me.“
