This is the third time I have tried to go to this cafe and with the hope of receiving better service from the cashiers and fatal!Not even a good day (morning, afternoon) and they don't even give you time to check the menu and make a decision.This afternoon at around 2:00 p.m. we went and looking at the menu the girl said: “Are you all together? Have you already made a decision? What do they want?" And with a terrible face that didn't even make me buy anything.I know that the Latin culture (I am Latin) but most business owners want to have female staff because they think that this way they will have more profits because...... they have to think about a more mixed staff that creates a more friendly environment. balanced.I recommend that you learn how to deal with the public, that it is not all about being a woman to work in that position, but knowing what customer service is.This is the third time trying to this coffee shop and hoping to have a better experience from the girls at the register.They don't even say hi to you or refer to you in an educated or respectful way. Thinking about which coffee to get they rush you to your decision and they don't take the time to explain the differences which I was trying to understand.Please try and learn about customerService first, here is the definition:“Customer service is the support you offer your customers, from the moment they first contact your business to the months and years later. This place is honestly ridiculous , they can have so much more potential if the employees treated others kindly & with respect. Also charging $2 for a paper bag is absurd. Totally not worth it in my opinion. Management needs to realize that their employees need to be more educated.

Ordered takeout on a Sunday morning and it was ok. I had the medianoche sandwich (3/5) but felt it could've been more flavorful. It was nice proportions of bread and inside but it was lacking. We also tried the ropa veija and chicken empanada (3/5) -- love the concept of baked instead of fried but it was just ok. The papa rellena (3/5)was also ok, the carne had an interesting taste and wasn't too crispy, more on the lightly fried side. The croqueta was very salty, reminded me of the Goya ones you can buy in store...and the matcha latte was also ok, I found it odd you have to pay 50 cents for 2% milk--most coffee/tea shops won't charge you for the change of regular milk only alternatives; so I stuck with whatever regular milk they use.I've had better Cuban sandwiches, food, and matcha latte elsewhere.Cute spot on the corner of Park Ave but food is just ok for the price. Service for takeout was pretty quick, and they had a nice outdoor order area where I was able to pickup, I love that concept.
