The worst tacos in New Jersey!The tortilla in bad condition, the meat completely burned! The guacamole was flavorless and with huge pieces of tomato!I had to explain to the lady who takes the order over the phone 10 times how I needed the dishes!Seriously the worst place to eat tacos!

Terrible service, I would not recommend it. I went to this restaurant with the intention of buying a meal. I asked the owner something and I know he is the owner because I have known him for years. He was selling on the street before opening this restaurant and he answered me in kind. such a stupid way, knowing that I spoke to him in Spanish, he answered me with 2 kisses in English, I laughed and left because it didn't stop me that just by having a restaurant of this type, he feels superior to others in this life, oh, I must always be humble and not forgetting where we come from, above all, not forgetting that customers are the ones who keep us standing, always giving the best service, their attitude bothers me

This place used to be good about a year or 2 not anymore. I ordered a chorizo taco that tasted like vegan sausage & a chicken enchilada filled with bones. Not okay. I was really looking forward to eating from again. But never again.

I really was looking forward to this place . I placed an order through Uber eats and for half hour it said there was a delay. Come to find out they closed the restaurant and took my money. Never ordering from here again.
I absolutely love this place. They have some of the best tacos in Hudson county (if not the best). The food is flavorful, rich and the portions are very generous. I want Guy Fieri to come here to broadcast how awesome this place is.

The food at El Rey del Taco is good when you eat in but every time I get it delivered or I go pick it up, they always mess up the order, they forget to put something on the food that I requested and I make sure and repeat myself 2-3 times just to get me order correct and I do speak Spanish so they can't say they don't understand what I said, don't know who's fault it is, the one taking the order or the one making it and to top it off, besides being charged for the food they add some other bs on your bill, like "Open Food $2.00" what in the hell is open food that costs an extra $2.00? Then they charge 25 cents for the plastic bag, this is truly some BS. And they charge $5.00 for a Elotes which an ear of corn covered in cheese and hot sauce. Who ever comes here check your bill, they're ripping people off!

I'm sad to write this because I've been going to them for years but they are not the best tacos anymore. They are over priced now and the Quality has gone down! I order steak taco's and all I get is fat! Happened 3 times already. Order chicken and you get lots of bones. Sadly they charge you so much extra just for sour cream and cheese. Like what I pay for the extra is like ordering another order of tacos. Now they charge you open item fees, wth is that?? They charge you for the bags, they charge extra if you use a credit card! This was my favorite spot but noooooo more!! Good luck ripping other people off, not me anymore.

The Best Tacos Carnitas I had in Bergenline, Union City. The Horchata is very good too. The Pollo Asado was so juicy and there salsa was a bomb. Shout out to the two Senyoras who serve the food, very professional.
